I dunno. I tried the place for a couple months after it opened, and while I had some good RP I also felt like I was on the outside looking in. Part of this was my schedule being hard to RP around because events often took place later in the week right when I was getting ready for work, but I also definitely felt like I wasn't part of the "in" crowd.
I also spent a lot of time off the team channels because one of the players there tended to dominate whatever discussion was going on and he'd frequently spam the channels with one-line train-of-thought stuff that scrolled the screen very quickly. The one time I saw where anyone asked him to chill with that, he basically said "Nope." So, avoiding the channels (and the lounge, no doubt) probably kept me further out of the loop.
The Brotherhood also appeared to be set up as a group that was meant to be a viable alternative to the X-Men in public, sort of straddling the fence in a gray area while not being purely good or bad, but some of the RP to me looked like it was dominated by kill-happy characters doing things that should have got the group a lot more negative press and trouble. If I'd had more time and more of a chance to get further involved with things I would have liked to ICly question some of what others were doing, but by the time I'd discussed it with one or two players the channel spamming thing had happened, staff took the guy's side when a complaint was raised, basically saying he wasn't doing anything wrong, and I decided it was time to move on.
I'm sure there are some good people and good players there, but things didn't work out for me.
