@surreality yeah, just saying that I think that's a different facet of being an ass. I had some lady on a fading suns game lose her shit on me about how I was stupid and racist obviously because I rped that my character was bilingual from her childhood days and how I dare rp about something that was so presumptive and incorrect. She was linguist and knew how those things worked and her kids were biracial/cultural and weren't bilingual. I wasnt playing it right.
She was an obnoxious dick. About a lot of other things apparently.

@Sparks people can be so gross. But yeah, while it has gotten better about some things, there are so many people obsessed about what other people are or arent doing in their interpersonal life, real or if. Even if you kind of expect it to at some point, when someone does that it just feels so yuck.

My partner saw one, actually. It didn't really change anything.
We're still together, even though I'm a raging slut. She's gotten used to it, and sort of rolls her eyes. I could rail about how I sometimes feel like I've lost the prime of my sexual years, but frankly I've gotten very comfortable not having the pressure to perform with her.
I accept things readily, which might be why I gravitate towards the Lancea et Sanctum consistently.

Personally I don't even care just how right (or wrong) they are portrayed since... well,lots of things are roleplayed badly. Unless it's really offensive I wouldn't care since it's none of my business.
What is my business is how they are likely to respond when things don't go their way, when not enough attention is catered for whatever their agenda is supposed to serve or of course when bad things happen to their characters and they choose to see a narrative that wasn't there.
@Arkandel that is where I am too but only because I have realized that they wouldn't listen even if I tried to explain why what they were doing was a bit twingy. And honestly why bother spending time where I actually get to RP, time that is precious to me, trying to convince the unconvincable for....what purpose? I wont enjoy their company, likely, and they wont enjoy mine or care about its absence.
I especially enjoy how bent out of shape dude-playing-ladies get when you try to explain women's bodies just don't work that way.
Like, c'mon, ovary up and learn something. You'll RP it better next time and it'll be a better experience for everyone. Shit, maybe you'll become a better sexual partner IRL.

Maybe I am just Cross., but that sounds like a very familiar family mansion...but then again I am sure family mansions with hot tubs in them are commonplace so I am probably way off base.

I am pretty sure that the family head at the time killed him at some point when his stupidity escalated.

@mietze I was only marginally tied to the family via my sire, but yeah, the Krosses were unique. Some really good people and RPers, some on the other end of the spectrum.
