Someone being okay with me taking their idea for their personal growth and jumping off the cliff with it. I ended up thinking up a whole PrP for this person and they went 'Cool, do it' and are letting me do it.

Compliments.
I'm not trying to brag, I promise. This is an appeal to positive feedback.
It was just one person telling me I was nailing something I'm trying to do. And it meant so much to hear that. You see someone being awesome IC or OOCly, tell them. It's very affirming and positive. We need more positivity is the hobby as a whole.
I'm trying to practice what I'm preaching. I'm bad at it. Out of fear and shyness. I still pass out the atta-persons as much as I can.
If you are staff this is a fine line. When I was staff, I would send praise on cool names, interesting back stories or creative setting of stats at CG.
Just be kind out there. We will all be better for it.

Looking back on an old character's notes three years later and laughing because of how redonkulous some of them seem today.
2016: this sweet innocent character likes to volunteer at homeless shelters and help the helpless and is trying to be a better person

Brought about the conclusion to a PRP storyline that really picked up for one player in particular, it was very nice and satisfying and a reminder of why STing for other players can be so worthwhile for everyone involved.

When you are new to a game and playing an area of the game you aren't sure about, but is large part of your char. Then someone pages about how they think you are doing great and surprised you just started.
That makes me have a happy.

I know this isn't for everyone, but I really do appreciate having a paged conversation out of the blue. Like, I like being reminded that there's a real person on the other side of the screen. Without those conversations I find it ~really~ difficult to get into an RP groove with someone.
I don't know what it is.
But I appreciate being paged out of the blue to just... talk.

I can understand this.
There have been people on games where I get this vibe of 'homg they hate me they don't want anything to do with me they can't stand me I'll never rp with them again' and then one day they'll page me to say hi and I just instantly feel more relaxed and chill and like everything is OK.

I mean they are safe because I don't know their alts, but I'm friendly DAMNIT.
I don't mind some OOC chatter/pages. However, maybe I'm weird, but you start chattering too much or are TOO friendly and I'm like why? Then I start to pull back a bit. Then there are other times that I just CLICK with someone and want to talk about things like the .. like um... well like... damnit.. I use to have hobbies. Stupid work.
