I wonder if there's any way to change the font size for a particular skin. @Glitch?
-
You know you can enlarge/shrink fonts from the browser side, right?
-
There certainly is, but it'd be universal to that particular skin. I also posted a request for this sort of thing here.

Ctrl + mouse wheel, it's not exactly a big deal. Then, if you're using Chrome, it remembers the setting for that domain.

Which is what I used for the last version. But in this version, it makes the reply window take up the entire screen which makes it impossible to see the post you're replying to or scroll through the thread.

Yeah. That's insanely annoying.

There used to be a way to navigate to the end of a topic when the "click here to get to the last thing you saw" button failed. What's the current trick? I'm not seeing a three-dot menu for that kind of stuff…

At the bottom it tells you what page you're on and then gives you a link to the first few, last few, and a ... in the middle (which if you click it, allows you to input whichever page you want).

In the header, when you're in a topic, there's the list of posts, like 1 out of 149. Next to those are nearly invisible links in your flatly skin, but the double chevron pointing down is what you'd use to go to the last post in a topic. I'll change the color of it so it's visible in the skin you use.

That, too. >.>

Okay, the arrows should now appear as white against that blue background. You should just need to do a hard refresh, @WTFE. You can also click on the actual "1 out of 152" which should give you a popup input that allows you to specify exactly which post you want to go to.

@Glitch
I expressed a negetive opinion in a resigned to it has happened and will continue to fashion so that shoud be 5 negetive responces.Though 5 to 3 is still not overwhelming given the sample size. -
@HelloRaptor similarly doesn't like it, but also accepts that I didn't upgrade just to make his life worse.
I haven't liked this software since the board opened, there were just times when I disliked it marginally less than I had before. At least it used to still look like a forum, though. I really, really find this super minimalist comments-style format to be incredibly unpleasant to look at for a forum.
Edit: But no, I don't think @Glitch is the devil in these particular details, and as somebody who likes to tinker with new stuff and routinely encourages people to upgrade even when it's not strictly necessary, I do understand.
-
I, on the other hand, like minimalist styles even for forums, and am thus the devil. Clearly.

Visible now. Thanks.

Boo, I liked it how it was!
-
I don't love this but I'll get used to it, if there's no likely chance the appearance will revert.
-
can we get back the blue highlighting patch that indicated last read post in a thread?
