RL things I love

I finally got Untitled Goose Game - affectionately called "This Goose Is An Asshole" by me. It is a puzzle-type game where you get to be a jerk to humans in epically awesome ways... AS A GOOSE!... for those who have never heard of the game. I am looking forward to playing it when I am in a mood where I hate people but can't be a jerk iRL to them.

That eventually, the truth of how things actually are may become apparent.
For a variety of reasons, I haven't believed this for a long while now, and while it's a struggle to believe it now?
I at least believe it's possible.
I still feel like that mentally exhausted motherfucker insisting that the world is indeed round being harried by zealous converts to the Flat Earth Society, but it is progress.

94 decks of cards in this photo.
2 are not shown (one is a jumbo deck that was already packed, the other is the deck in my backpack).I am FAIRLY CERTAIN this is all of them. But considering I found 17 just packing things around my apartment, I may very well come across more.
I need to figure out the best way to display them after I move. Keeping them in a box makes me sad.
-
@Auspice You just need sixty-four various sized cut-outs of Penn and/or Teller to hold them.

I have five I could reach without moving from where I am right now. >.>

@Aria I am jealous of this. I lost mine in the move.

I am at my most diabolical.
Sending a doctored URL link into my Facebook feed stating that Modiphius has just announced on Xmas morning that they've unveiled a new RPG set in the "Big Trouble in Little China" universe...
...but it will redirect them to the middle of "Last Christmas" by Wham!
On Xmas morning.
I'm gonna turn the Whammageddon into the fucking Hunger Games.
-
Usually, Xmas is the same collection of Lindor Balls for my husband and I to split and a pair of slipper socks. Maybe a few cool beads my mother found somewhere.
I finally caved and asked for ONE THING specifically this year...
...and my darling husband got it. (My mother promptly stole it to drool over for a few days, but it is got!)
This has not happened since I was 11 or so, so it's a happy squee thing indeed.
(Also, this year's slipper socks are fucking adorable.)

-
Also, one of my online League of Legends friends, called me this morning - to buy me Minecraft, so we can play more games together. I feel loved.

@Ghost Actually, you didn't. Whamaggedon stops at 12am of Christmas. They're already safe until next year. Sorry, it's in the rules.
Rules....damn it.
Next year I'm gonna be ruthless.

Here's what you do: rig a music player to the toilet in your guest bath so that whenever someone lifts the lid, it begins playing Last Christmas.
Host a big party.
Make sure only you use the master bath for ultimate carnage. -
@Auspice omg I just got a better idea
Bluetooth speaker.
Party.
Leave the room.
Earplugs.
Press play. -

So every year my SO's kid and I play ONE match of NHL on PS4. We call it the House Cup. With it comes shit-talking rights for the whole year.
The first year I kinda let him win. The 2nd time he legitimately beat me. This time, my parents and my SOs dad were in attendance and oh boy did I grandstand. I gave a speech on the importance of who gets to take the Cup, how I was going to beat this kid so bad it was gonna he a crime, how having a captive audience was like a Christmas gift.
We did a practice match. I won that 2-1. Oh, I was convinced this was my year.
he fucked me up
Not only did he legitimately beat me, but he wrecked me. 7-0. In front of everyone. I must have hit the post 12 times with wide open net. Kid took on like 18 minutes if penalties. I had at least three 5-3 power plays and still didnt score.
Now everyone wants to be there for it next year.
Good memory.

We should play online.
I don't always brag, but I usually run up the score to about 20-0 before letting the AI take over and re-enter the franchise mode.
Tips:
- Learn to cycle the puck.
- One-timing is more effective than attempting to deke the goalie.
- Keep your defense back.
- Check the puck carrier at the blue line.
If there's one thing I love, it's EA's NHL series.
