I mean, we talked about Star Wars for way longer. I hadn't planned on continuing the discussion, personally.

Sounds like a natural reaction to @Ganymede, then.

Like, y'all make me work and shit, and give me love, and all I got is:

I will say it's a nurse that tries to make sure I have weed for when I can't take that pain. (She just happens to be my sister)

Now the skit will be in my mind all night thanks for the thread title.

So ive been high and cooking for my neighbors all day and i come back to y'all talking about my favorite medicine.
I smoke most every day.
I wake up 2 hours before work so I can wake and bake and get my groove straight before work, but then have enough time to be totally funtional.
It takes a LOT of weed to make me feel really inebriated.
Weed helped me get over my shit enough to go see a therapist again.
Ive lost 65lbs since i started smoking.
Its a near instant panic attack cure for me.
Shit is expensive if you use a lot. The delivery out here in Silicon Valley is nice tho.
I have some legit dependence issues that i am exploring with support from my wife, but right now the good has outweighed the bad.
@Meg I am so sorry you are allergic.
Tonight I made Chicken Katsu and Potato Waffles (potato pancakes in a waffle Iron) for a few of my neighbors. Muy Yum Yum.
(now in the correct place)

I don't give you what you want.
I give you what you need.

I realized the only thing I know about you is from here your cat memes.
I hope that's okay.

Let's see.
I used to be a huge pothead.
Then I took an arrow to the knee called an "oath."
Then I became a robotic cat attorney.
I am secretly but an algorithm.

I tried smoking pot once when I threw out my back. It made me violently ill to where I was projectile vomiting. I've never tried it again.
Which is good, seeing as though my SO is allergic, and when her students come in reeking of it, it sets off her allergies and triggers an asthma attack. So even if I wanted to smoke it, I can't.
Now edibles, and CBD on the other hand, I've never tried and by all intents and purposes might be ok? Maybe one day I will pop down to the local weed shop and buy one just to try and hope I don't get sick again.

@Sunny I wish my doctor's would consider the mj for pain.Trying to get referred for pain management is a joke. I've got two painful autoimmunes that I'm diagnosed with, and my doctor thinks I may have a third (please gods, no), but I can't get medical MJ? I don't WANT Morphine
Uh, but I digress. Sorry
So I'm a medical pot patient too, and at least where I live your actual doctors do not do the referrals to the 'pot doctors'. This is likely because the Feds have a good deal of influence over traditional doctors, they can control who gets a DEA prescribing number, they control many of the review boards for licencing, etc.
So here you get a copy of your chart from your doctor doctor to bring along with you to the pot doctor and if you have a condition that medical use is approved for in your state, you prove it to the pot doctor with your records, get a consultation, and leave with a number for your card.
Insurance obviously covers none of this, so that's a downside.

I'd probably be dead if it weren't for nurses and budtenders. Budtenders are also super helpful people.
They ARE, its so funny. They're like sommeliers, and probably honestly would have a recommendation for me if I asked "What goes with salmon" the same way they do, "I have a headache and everything is making me cranky."

I'm in a state with legal medical cannabis products, but only oils and extracts, and you have to pay a fee every year just for the privilege of being able to be prescribed cannabis.
I'm lucky. My dad likes growing and lives in a state where he can with no problems, so I buy the seeds for the strains I want and he grows them for me.
