@cobaltasaurus Yes, huskies and most of the spitz-type breeds have curly tails.

Could you please tell your pupper that they are the cutest?

All puppies are meant to be on furnitures and in beds.

Why would you not let the pupper on the couch/bed? They want to be with you, and pup cuddles are the best.

@macha cause he's gonna be the size of a small pony when he grows up, and what you let him do as a puppy he will do as a dog.

We ran around outside to get used to the leash, which he HATES, but loves rolling in the grass. Now he is a tired pupper.

I'm gonna have to time out walks in the future cause we were out for 20 minutes, but from what I read he's only supposed to get 10 minutes of exercise right now.

I need more pupper photos. My landlord does not allow pets, so I must live vicariously through you to get my pupper fix.

                                      Adventures in puppies:

His favorite toy is a kitchen towel. Which he loves biting. Second only to toes, fingers, and ankles. No amount of clapping my hands, high pitched noises, or shouting "ow!" dissuades him trying to chomp on my person.

His beady little brown eyes track my hands every move. Full of an insatiable lust for chewing on my fingers.

He's also smart as hell. I tried doing this thing where you take some kibble or some treats, and you have the dog bed in front of you and the puppy with you. You lure the dog around with the food. Every time he goes onto the bed, you give him a treat. Then you pull the food away to see if he goes to the bed. Within 30 seconds of this exercise he realized that bed = treat, and he refused to be lured away from it, because he knew even if he moved he wasn't getting the treat until he went back on the bed.

He also understands the command for "sit", he just dgaf about it.

He's beginning to learn what the leash means and not run away from it. We're having more luck with potty training by using a crate rather than pee pads.

But taking him outside every 3hrs is kinda exhausting. How does he have so much energy?!

@cobaltasaurus I've sometimes been working with dogs that don't respond to No! or OW!, either. I've sometimes had success in those instances with a lower, almost Buzzer on a game show when you give the wrong sound.

Get yourself an empty soda can (I usually use one of the smaller kinds), then stick like five or six pennies in it and tape the opening up well. Shake firmly once when the pupper is misbehaving. The pupper will immediately stop and probably be quite startled and unhappy. For some reason that noise really bothers dogs.

Most people use a shake can to train a dog not to bark, but it worked to curb other behaviors as well for my dog.
