On a different topic. The Evil empire (walmart) charged me for a membership I did not sign up for, for over 100 dollars (More than what I had in that acct, too). I called them right after, and disputed it, wanted it cancelled, etc. They took three days to fix it.
I got my money back, so I could order my groceries for pickup. I ordered, picked them up 2 days later, and waited almost an hour. To the point people who came after me left before me. So I called the customer service line to make sure they /had/ my stuff. Magically, as I am on the phone, my stuff comes out.
Here's the problem - they never charged me for the groceries. It's been two days since I picked them up, and not even a pending charge. Do I call them and tell them their mistake, or leave it be and call it restitution for them being fuckwads?

I don't see right or left articles or stuff, but I have elected not to repost a lot of political stuff like I used to. Instead, it's mostly kitty videos.
Unsurprisingly, I have a lot of recommended cat videos only.

Don't bother. Your grocery order is a literal drop in the bucket for them, and they have budgeted for that kind of mistake loss. What I do recommend, as a former employee of theirs, is to shop elsewhere. Their treatment of their employees is absolutely atrocious and it's not going to change as long as people are spending money there. They won't admit a need to change, instead they just take the insanely high turnover of workers and shrug it off, hiring literally everyone for a few months until they are ground into dust and quit for the sake of health and sanity, despite needing the money.
@betternow I am also a former employee. Alas, the grocery stores around here tend to charge way more for the things I get, and Aldi just does not carry everything I need/use/like.
We're talking a 35 to 50+ cent difference on something I will use 7 or more of in a week. That's just the one thing, and that's the more 'reasonable' of the local stores near me.
Groceries have exploded, expense wise, and I just can't afford the pricier route.

The word "binging." Two syllables spelled almost identically, yet the I and the G are both pronounced differently, and there's no way to infer that without just knowing.

I mean, technically, they first G could be either, depending on if the base word is binge or Bing, the search engine. It'll never be as popular as Google but someone's gonna try to make that a word eventually so we might as well accept that both pronunciations are correct and have different meanings.

"Bing" may be onomatopoeic, but that doesn't make it a verb. Bells don't 'bing'; they ring.

@il-volpe Definitely get checked - it can hide for a long time. I know this because we found mine purely by chance, likely 15 years in! (you can have TB which is non-infectious as well which mine was thankfully)

Go to the US southwest. You can catch it from prairie dogs and it pops up every so often in isolated cases. But it's usually not a big deal as it's treatable with common antibiotics.
