It's become a bit of a passion project of mine to resurrect Road to Amber MUSH, for the joy of RPing in Zelazny's world. I'd love for folks to come back and inhabit their characters once more, and join me in the endeavor.
Simulacrum has very kindly offered to staff for us.

@misadventure It doesn't. It's a custom platform designed by a coder named Helix (and a few others, I believe, originally). The MUSH uses the first book as canon, and then events have developed IC from there.

Helix is also known as Amberyl, a coder behind one of the MU* codebases, and the one who literally wrote the book on staff ethics in MU*. She pretty much abandoned it many years ago.
Best of luck to Simulacrum, but if Hella is begging people to come back, I'm going to stay elsewhere.

I appreciate the extra info on Helix. For those concerned, Simulacrum has said they do have a way to contact Helix for any technical issues the game might face.

Helix has graciously fixed the code issue that wasn't allowing folks to finalize their sheets/buy new gifts. Everything is up and running smoothly and there's RP to be had in Lyonesse, specifically around the Chromatic Order.
