I've been playing Rising Storm 2: Vietnam. It's... actually a lot of fun. Positioning and communication matter a lot more than just a good shot. Taking objectives and supporting your team give a lot more points than kills, which are mostly inconsequential.
My first experience in the game was hearing that napalm was coming, so I dove through a window. I looked back the way I came and saw my entire squad melting and screaming. If you enjoy FPSes, I highly recommend it.

@Admiral Yeah, I played through the beta and am still enjoying it. I hope they release the map editor soon, I want to see some community maps while the playerbase is still big.
Also, some people are way too good at piloting helicopters.

Ill play 10 rounds in a row as a counselor with no connection issues, but then I will be doing SO FUCKING WELL as Jason, kill the guy who is hosting the match, and then suspiciously, the host disconnects and I don't get my xp.
Delete the Hog Pit. It'll be fun.

I heard that was the same problem with Evolve.

It was sometimes. The biggest problem I had with Evolve is everyone wanted to be the monster. So if they weren't they would bail on games and then keep rerolling until they were. I think with the updated free to play they put in a punishment system but in the early days it did not have that. -
F13 uses P2P to run games but has no construct at the moment for reinitializing with a new host if the host leaves.
In FOR HONOR, if the host leaves, the game just finds the next suitable host in match, pauses the match, then resumes after reinitializing.
In F13, the game needs a HOST and a Jason. If the host disconnects, the whole game dies and no one gets xp. If Jason disconnects(and isnt the host), all of the counselors are informed they survived the night and get their xp.
Answer: update P2P to include reinitialization. May be more difficult than it sounds.

That does sound like some pretty poor game design to me, that there is no way to prevent that. Is the game going to have further development since it was not so well received? All the people I know into games like that abandoned it after a few days to go back to Dead by Daylight or whatever one that is called. -

I'm Sniklefras on PS4 and have F13 (And Moiren on Steam and have F13).
I hope a lot of the server issues will be fixed with the patch + free DLC they are giving out. Also: Double XP weekend and 13, 000 CP. (And NES Jason skin and music too).

Double xp has started on F13th, and the skin and music (well mostly the music) manages to be creepy. 13, 000 CP is enough to buy all the Jason move sets, and one extra perk for your counselors, btw. >.>

If anyone is interested in playing Ark, I have a Ragnarok server set up with some QOL mods and rate fiddling.
If you're interested, the easiest way to connect is by going to your steam client, clicking on view -> servers, then hit the favorites tab. Right click or click the add a server button and put in 192.154.225.101:27015. Should be called Floofnarok. You can either connect from there, or it will also now show up in your favorites when you look at the servers in game.
We just wiped progress, so it's a pretty clean slate again!
