@Jennkryst Elite Dangerous is tons of fun with a dual-stick setup. There's some interesting voice command mods that go beyond the base game's functionality too. Although I'm not sure where they stand now I've not played that game in months.
I love ASTRA my AI.

It's weird that The Last of Us 2 isn't pulling at me nearly as much as the first one did.
I think that's mostly because the end of the first game was idiotic.

I suppose Forrest Gump was right, then.

I spent monies on the flight stick with an extremely LEWD name. And then bought another one.
Wait, what is this? Link me!
THRUSTMASTER - it's... uh... the company name, so not quite as LEWD. But there's TWO of them, so whee?
I forgot to say yesterday 'cause I was reading from phone.
I'm a thrustmaster.

Blizzard suspends Hearthstone player for ‘liberate Hong Kong’ statement
Pathetic.
And I was sad enough this morning to find that Apple agreed to hide the emoji for the Taiwan flag in Hong Kong and Macau (it was already hidden in China).

@Auspice I am irrationally enraged by how many organizations that've been happy to rake in the "socially conscious" cred as long as it represented an opportunity for free positive publicity are now not only refusing to support people who badly need that support -- but are actively undercutting and sabotaging them.

Pretty much. And people wonder why some of us are sick of companies putting out stuff like cutesy rainbow in-game loot (to use a random example).
It's like sure. Yeah. Give them your money for something easy because they'll turn around and do something like this. This kid spoke his support in a very real, very hard situation. All he did was say a single sentence.
And Blizzard pulled their support of him.
A company based out of the US.
A company that was just.........afraid of losing money. Not of legal ramifications. Just money. -
@Auspice
Oddly enough, the best commentary that I've found on all of this - especially as it regards to things like what happened with the NBA this week and the Hearthstone gamer - watch last week's Southpark episode.Their animated statement on the entire thing is pretty spot on and subsequently why Southpark has been entirely scrubbed from China.

Pandering to maximize your end result is kind of a new form of currency. People hate pandering when it doesn't head in their favor, but often fail to identify pandering when it includes them.
Blizzard chose Chinese money (note: The new Diablo cell phone game slash microtransaction ATM is being driven by Chinese devs) over fan outrage. I think it's garbage, but something tells me Blizzard is gonna be just fine.
Not sacrificing a ton of future cash flow over 1 pro gamer is a tactical, yet Lawful Evil, business call. On the gamer's side, given that he signed a contract to not make certain statements on Blizzard's time, he should have cleared if he could say that before using the airspace to get political.
Is it wrong? Ethically, yes. Contractually this play appears to be within the boundaries.

Matt Stone and Trey Parker certainly have loads of Tegridy. Their response to the situation on Twitter was also perfect. There's a reason this is the only show that's been going on this long that I still watch.

Mario Kart Tour released on iOS today.
I'm coming in 1st every time despite the controls feeling really weird and feeling like I'm really terrible. I'm awesome at Mario Kart on platform but I feel like I'm terrible at it on mobile.
...either I really am that good or everyone else playing is just that bad. I should not be winning. (But I'm glad I am because I am hella competitive in racing games.)
ETA: I unlocked the ranked play. Add me! 4627 9523 0045
The reason you are winning every game is that Mario Kart Tour on iOS doesn't have multiplayer. Despite having a ranked play mode. It just names bots like players (including names in other languages). It plans to EVENTUALLY have multiplayer but it does not right now. You're playing a single player game.
I realized this later on.
I'm an idiot is all. ;.;
