Okay, not QUITE how I meant it, but I see how it came across that way. Ew Ortallus. Just.. ew.
Wait, what if @Ortallus is Trump's account?
This could explain a lot!
Hey. Seriously, talk about fucking crossline lines?

I could not stand Yennefer as a character and I'm glad that Wild Hunt addressed Geralt's compulsion regarding her.
-
One word: Triss.

I'm never going to play the games, but I'm curious if it's anything remotely close to what actually happened in the books.

@ortallus
The games take place after what occured in the novels. The game devs did not want to try and retell the story Sapkowski did but add to it and expand the world.In fact, when asked in an interview Sapkowski did not canonize the games or say that he considered it an alternate world but that he considered it a new piece of art inspired by his works that should stand on its own.
-
He also sold the rights for like a thousand bucks.

For whatever reason, Witcher 3 didn’t let me romance her. And in the end I’m glad, because Triss was a whiny do-gooder, and I’m always too nice in all the games I play. The way I played, tho, Yennifer was a complex and interesting woman.

I had the opposite experience. Triss was all about getting her hands dirty and getting things done. Yennifer was pretty awful and bragged about using mind control on Geralt to get what she wanted.

Still, I am overjoyed that he is involved in the Netflix series.
Also: Triss. Can't really get into Keira, as that's my daughter's name.
-
@ganymede
Yeah I am too. I think with better direction and a bigger budget Netflix can really capture the essence of the novels. -

You had to make two choices in order to cement the romance. So as not to spoil, I"ll just say that being a gentleman in the first situation was not the right choice.

Am I the only one playing Dragon Ball FighterZ or am I the only nerd of that sort?
-
I am playing BotW, and so far I have a lot of fun.... Except for the fucking korok trials. Seriously, who fucking thought this would be fun?

If I had the money and the machine needed, I'd play.
-
@tragedyjones
I don't play it but my brother does and I like to sit and watch him play it. He is a huge DBZ nerd. -

This ends up being a whole lot of deflection. Like the hint to me below about Triss, Yennifer is a proud woman who doesn't trust easily.
To me, Triss was super-whiney.
But whatever we think, that we had different experiences and still enjoyed the game means it deserves some kind of Most Amazing RPG To Date award.

That award clearly goes to The Last of Us. Still.
The Witcher 3 is awesome, but I think I enjoyed Horizon Zero Dawn more.
Still, bewbs.

Wait, what? No. No it doesn't mean that at all. <.<

Then it's The Best I've Ever Played. This is a valid award that Witcher 3 did better than your mom.

To me, 'best game' used to mean the game I would spend the most hours playing/thinking about.
But then I played almost 4000 hours of a game that made me miserable.
I don't know what to believe anymore.
