Something either up with Vampire apps or something is up with mine.

Vampire opened on June 1st for apps. I'm 85% sure that not one app has been approved. And I'm sure as hell still waiting.

I LOVE Reno. I like the players and the staff and so far this is my only poor experience. I'm an understanding goldfish. (And I'll forget about this problem as soon as I can hit the grid. I'm a goldfish.) If something is going on behind the scenes, that's fine. I'm not pushy. I'm concerned at this point. Why can't the vampires play?

I know that Tarocchi is under enormous amounts of troubles RL lately, so that might contribute. I would just page staff politely and ask. Have you commented on your app job?

@Goldfish And I want more vampires to play with, darnit. I'd think apps would take somewhat of a priority, considering the number of players on the MU*. I know vamp staff was re-vamping (hue hue) some things, but apps have been re-opened now for over a week. Sure would be nice to have some new folks around. Especially since finding RP can be difficult.

Which app do you need checked, @Goldfish? Pinball is vampTL, but he's off today due to a sudden RL issue worse than mine. I can look at it, but I can't make any promises as it is not my sphere, and it may need him to approve it tomorrow when he returns.

I did comment on my app.

I never, ever want to seem pushy or impatient. RL comes first. It was just weird and I was curious. I'll keep waiting if I have to.

Quietly so. Not something I really discuss, 'cause stalker issues are a thing. I tend not to talk about where I play here until I'm gone.

It isn't that I don't 99% of you. It's the 1% that enjoys turning my life into a cavalcade of chaotic stress and bullshit I try to steer clear of. (RL is a giant ball of messy thing right now in big ways, so it'd be a really not good time to add to the nnnngh factor.)

The folks on Reno are pretty much pure awesome, and I would be evangelizing a lot more if I felt like watching it all go to hell over someone who can't not treat the drama llama like an epic mount.

Is it bad when I find a new game and then actively want to not advertise it because I think it's made of pure awesome and don't want the rest of the fools to ruin it? I mean, they will eventually, most likely. It always becomes a thing. But god-damn- do I want my five minutes or so of bliss.

...for what it's worth, every single member of the staff gives a damn about preventing infestations of the passionately stupid.

We may not be able to accomplish that, but a fuck is officially given to that end.

Uh, not literally a fuck, because that would be a completely different sort of game. But the point remains, I hope (in the grip of sleep dep of epic proportions).

(Srsly, I think weresphere is about 65 characters or so, now. Which is fucking amazing, and they are awesome, but omg that is one hell of a lot of paperwork for one already-busy-with-RL me.)

Back up. Sorry for the trouble.

MPM-ITK (the thing that lets me host php inside a mod_php but with different sites owned by different users rather than that horrid common wwwdata heresy) still has some odd glitches now and then. The nightly apache2ctl graceful (for log rotation) apparently got stuck. Fixed now!
