But every so often, a delivery driver shows up at my door: 'Those were some of the best instructions I've ever had.' And I usually praise them for actually reading/following them.
Bitch, I sent you crackers and socks, and you didn't get shit.
Don't tell me them fools be good.

Oh, Amazon never is.
But every so often a Papa John's driver or DoorDash driver is.I actually had a repeat of that at my security job this spring.
Ordered shoes for the job. Amazon insisted they were delivered. I insisted they weren't.
yadda yadda bought a new pair.Three months later the original shows up at my door. ????

@Auspice I've had to start having things delivered to work because "please don't leave on the doorstep where it can be stolen but put in this thing I have specifically put here for parcels with Parcels written on it" is too complex. They also left our gate open twice to let puppy onto the road. I flipped my shit then...

Ugggh.
My complex now (we didn't when @Ganymede tried sending me things!) has something called an 'Amazon Hub' which is like an Amazon Locker just for the complex. All deliveries (except oversized ones) go to it, not just Amazon. The problem with my boots is they insisted they were in the locker. They were not. I even had to call Amazon Hub and get them to confirm and relay back to the other team. It was a mess. THANKFULLY only happened the once.
It makes me miss living in a house TBH. The house I had back in SC had a big porch and was set back enough from the road.

If the text entry cursor thing (also called a caret, apparently) is flashing, I assume the text I enter will be on that flashing thing. IF YOU ARE NOT THE SELECTED WINDOW, DON'T DO THE FLASHY TEXT ENTRY THING.

For some unknown reason, Hangouts on my laptop takes control of text entry. If I have had a chat window for Hangouts open and go to type elsewhere...... it goes to Hangouts.
I have not found any trace of this issue on the intarwebs or any rhyme or reason for it.

You never really complain about how many RPG books you have in your collection until you need to pack and move them.

So you only own the Pathfinder collection?
-
@Tinuviel I think I own maybe 30-40 WoD books, 25-30 Palladium books, ALL of star wars d20/FFG/saga, 25 books across pathfinder/starfinder, the new Star Trek, maybe 12 Shadowrun books, 10 Mutants and Masterminds/DC, and a TON of assorted stuff like Dragonstar, Cthulhu Tech, Eclipse Phase, Paranoia, Dragon Age, One Ring, Dr Who, Robotech, Battlestar, Firefly/Serenity, Fate, BESM, Exalted, Scion, Carbon 2185, Street Fighter RPG, etc etc etc. A bunch of smaller books like Tiny d6...
Ive got a collection I'm very happy with, but there is a cost in sweat for sure.
My rares are definitely My hardcopies of the Street Fighter line, Dragonstar, and some others.

Street Fighter was so fun.

I feel like this was the theme of this past month, for me. My thoughts feel like tangled snarls that won't unravel unless i"m itemizing each and every thread in the order it showed up, and by that point it's a dissertation nobody would rightfully have the patience to endure.

No, random journalist on Facebook, it is not accurate to say that a person who has confessed to elements of a crime has confessed to the crime itself.
No, random journalist on Facebook, me pointing this out does not make me a rape apologist.
No, random journalist on Facebook, I am not responsible for making you upset when you were the one who wandered into my comment thread and began arguing with me.

@Rinel Man, I have had variants of that conversation...
