I am so angry. At myself. For being so stupid.
It got cooler here, only 95 and started to rain. Hallelujah!
I left the door open to get some air. Didn't think much about it! But the puppies got out. It's okay, they are potty trained now, so we usually leave the door or the doggie door open for them.
I didn't think they would go and search for the first mud puddle to form and go waller in it like a pig.
Oh, but they did.
My clean, happy ass was just sitting here when suddenly... mud feeties everywhere. I'm covered in mud. My formerly clean kid is covered in mud. My whole house is decimated like a tornado just ripped right through it.
I had to follow emergency bath protocols with no one to help me (they are some big damn dogs) and now I am dripping sweat and covered in mud and I smell like wet hounds.
IDK if anyone knows the smell of a basset hound, let alone a wet one. It's not the finest of scents.
I have to go to the store now smelling like this before they close. >:| I just can't win today. I can't believe I left the door open.
Stop laughing.

All of them. Just to be sure. Then the other two will work as your little enforcers if the third one tries to do it again.

I am a clumsy fuckwit. I have been known to fall up stairs, to walk into doors, and hook my own belt loops on the door handle. I always have bruises, and remembering what caused them is a rarity. I'm so bad I could clumsy for England.
Today I have injured myself... while on a first aid course.
Only me.

I catch myself on EVERYTHING. At work I have to carry a phone on my belt and I have caught it on more things. I'll be walking and then just stop because I got it caught. Belt loops. Shirts. You name it. I'll also trip over imaginary items. Choke on air because breathing must be hard or something. I play where the hell did that bruise come from all the time. I feel for that.
On the teeth. I have dentist fear. No reason for it. Just have it. The idea of being knocked out makes me rather uncomfortable too. So I had to have my wisdom teeth extracted last year. I did it under a local. That only slightly worked. Then they realized my bottom two had a 'wicked curve' that was 'not normal' but decided hey let's pull them out anyways. OMG. I feel for y'all.
-
I started wearing dresses and leggings - and stopped catching my belt loops on things. Now I just have bruises that are cropping up like crazy and I'm clueless how I got them.
Then there's today - trying to pull the plastic ring off a soda bottle at work, and slam the back of my hand into the end of the arm of my chair. But at least I know where that one comes from!
-
I wear a chain wallet and probably once every few weeks or so I'll sit on some kind of grated bench or office chair and the chain will get caught in it.
I'll go to stand up and find I'm chained to a post. Awkward.

Grown-uping is hard. All of the insurances today. 1 hour and counting...
-
Staring at the weather and praying the forecast will be off by a few hours either way. Either snow early afternoon and then clear up by midnight or snow at 2 am.
Just let my plane get off the ground.
-
When you have spent the last holiday/work week/whatever running around and doing things, while you pray for sleep. Then you have two blissful days off. You've told everyone not to contact you. You move forwards and stretch out to sleep. Realize all the housework/LAUNDRY that you have to do. Come to the realization between dr appointments/chores/people outside of work wanting attention - you have just as much to do on your weekends .....
Fuck.
-
I hate that I have such an impossible time asking for help and it makes me resentful of people who have an easier time of asking, so they get what they need. I despise being resentful of other people when the actual issue is my own damn pride and I know it and it STILL HAPPENS. Stupid feels.
-
@Sunny Feels are pretty stupid but yours are all valid.
-
@SinCerely
I donโt want them to be valid I want them to be gone. I appreciate the supportiveness though, thank you very much.

This needs to be a t-shirt.
-
I would wear that. I just started therapy (not the thread on this so I won't linger on it) and OMG. Hello issues. Ooooo.. I'd wear a shirt that said that too.
@Sunny - I'll just DM you everything my therapist tells me to do and the books she recommends. Sliding in your DM for mental health. Awww yeah, it's (mental) business time.
