My mother had a cheesecake recipe that had no bite to it at all, and she made it all the time when I was growing up. The first time I had cheesecake that wasn't hers...
...I have since embraced both, but mostly Not Mom's, because she doesn't make it any more.

@saosmash Please, please, please take this one seriously if it's ongoing and not just a 'this few hours is driving me bonkers'. I know it seems like a nuisance thing and not any sort of crisis, but I thought the same for years... and that's kinda why I'm in the midst of getting implants now.
You do not want this, trust me.If you can get something for anxiety, or even a minor muscle relaxant, for times like this? It's worth asking your doc. (Doc, not dentist.) Mouth guards suck, but if it's happening when you're awake, it's probably happening (more aggressively) in sleep; it really will help.

My dumb ass wore the wrong glasses today. I was so out of it I didn't realize during my commute... only when a coworker commented that they like them.
So my being unable to see for shit this morning wasn't being tired: it was because I was wearing my computer glasses out and about.
Makes dealing with work difficult because I can't look down hallways without eye strain. Bah.
Saying the quiet parts out loud since 1996.

Here's my peeve of the day. Its actually for yesterday, but I was too tired...
Turning all the aircon units on in every classroom at the same time leads to none of us having air conditioning. It was 117 degrees.
