It's been VERY weird only having one pet. It's all balanced out now.
He's FIV+, has a wonky eye, two cracked teeth, chirps like a bird, and purrs like someone's idea of a purr. He's fucking perfect.

I don't USUALLY post this stuff, but in a town close to me, there was a puppy mill discovered as well as a slew of other animals. A few of these dogs have already given birth since being at the shelter. None of the puppies or dogs can be adopted yet since it's still an ongoing investigation. But if you want to and CAN help out, the link is there. And when the time comes and you want to adopt. Please do! I've been following these poor animals from the beginning. It's been heartbreaking ...

My cats are getting along after a month of being around one another. There's mutual grooming and as of yesterday - laying in a cuddle puddle of cat.

It is both super cute and annoying af that our pets have become so used to us being home, our one cat now walks around the house yeowling at top volume whenever insomniac is in the shower.
Like, we're talking full-blown kitty air raid siren letting us know that he's been orphaned forever and shall live the tragic life of a little Victorian matchstick girl..... because the humans are not in his line of sight and also maybe a door is closed.
