what system are you using? Are you only allowing Ameican operatives, or are international organizations permitted?

During the Cold War, the American Empire rose, at the head of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, opposing the Soviet Union and the Warsaw Pact. Proxy wars blazed into the night, as people fought against colonial governments and social unrest against injustice raged. After the decline of communism, there was a brief decade of peace, before forces conspired to plunge the world into war again.
Now, in 2018, the new world sees empires poised to return. The modern intelligence operation has become the centerpoint of a country's policy, whether it be a man in a corporate office, or a woman in police tactical gear. Great powers seek to do their own form of justice, as gods return to the world stage, their armies of financiers and dapper assassins clashing throughout the grand night.
And in the halls of power, tendrils reach into the hearts of humanity, playing a game as old as life itself.

My question is more inclined to wonder if it is PvP heavy or more about taking out NPC sorts rather than PCs.

If there was a competing Remington Steele game, that would continue the march of Pierce Brosnen spy games. We round it up with a Tailor of Panama themed game and viola.

@cupcake If there are no Brits involved something has clearly gone horribly wrong.

@cupcake I'm currently still in chargen, but so far it has all sorts: British, French, Israeli, Russian, Chinese, etc (for examples of the 'main organizations'). Obviously Americans as well, but they don't seem to be the only option.

Hey, how has this been going? It looked pretty cool. I will admit ISIS being playable kinda turned me off, but I am still wanting to check it out in my free time.

@valkyrie I logged on a few times, and saw it was mostly based in RL organizations - which is problematic for me, both on a personal level (I don't think its appropriate) and on an OOC level (I couldn't rp there because of my job) - I've peered as a guest once or twice and there doesn't seem to be much activity.
Its a good idea, but I think they should have avoided RL geopolitics, and stuck with stuff like 'illuminati', 'Spectre', 'Majestic 12' and the like.

@magee101 Yeah, they have one bond org. SPECTRE. The rest are real life orgs; like ISIS, for instance, or chineese intelligence, which I just don't feel are appropriate.

@secretfire I bailed for that reason too. I was so excited thinking it was a James Bond spy game. :C I thought we'd get to do political intrigue and epic fisticuffs on moving trains and all that fun stuff.
