Let's talk about TS.

I mean, I have had characters (okay, one character) who used Tinder as a RP hook a couple of times. And I suggested it more often than that. I don't think any sex actually happened as a result, though. But it's the thought that counts!
I just assume that's what an [Internet] channel on a game is for, anyway.
-
@peasoupling I suddenly have the need to see what Shadowrun says about sex in the matrix...

@vulgarkitten Or 'omfg I don't TS and everyone in this room wants to fuck me shit shit shit RUN FOR THE HILLS'.
You wouldn't see their interest unless you expressed yours, too.
Yes, but if you express yours, and nothing comes back? Then you know they're either not interested or they're not using the command. With the insecurities of most MUSHers? It's going to inevitably jump to the former at some point and cause drama.
-
@vulgarkitten I kind of. Kind of want to see someone justify their "why won't anyone TS with me" bullshit like they do with their crappy RP seeking crap.
-
@tinuviel Not gonna lie, the horrible part of me just did a spit-take over this. Because that would be a thing. And the horrible part of me would laugh. It would laugh really fucking hard.
-
No, I am all for this command!
As long as there is also an +interest/fistfight Jane, +interest/coffeehousephilosophicalbs Jane, +interest/embarrassself Jane, etc.
-
@surreality Honey, we're talking about TS, not engaging in it. Please don't spit until you really mean it.
-
@tinuviel Dude, if your wang spouts coffee, it's ONNNNNNNNNNNN, just sayin'.
-
@surreality ... if it ever starts doing that, I won't need you anymore.
-
@tinuviel Dammit. I would have totally even tried to play a dude for that.
-
@surreality Besides, I am a guy. It'll be really disappointing coffee that tastes burnt and under-roasted at the same time, some of it will get in your hair somehow, and I'll be stupidly proud about it all.

What people don't understand is that I'm not up for a shag with them.
-
@cobalt has some code floating out there on a few sites that is +prefs. It'd be stupid easy to alter the list of types of rp to reflect do's and don't's.
-

Just go in and change
&data.categories prco=action.adventure.casual.comedy.conflict.mystery.public.romance.social

Those sound like accurate categories, to be fair.
-
@tinuviel Well, yes. Those are the stock standard I could think of 'what kind of RP do people like', but if we're changing it to be more kink-like, or what not...
It'd be trivial to change those categories to something like:
action.adventure.casual.comedy.conflict.mystery.public.romance.social.ts - light.ts - graphic.ts - monogamy.ts - hookup.ts - romantic
Or whatever.
ts - @Ganymede only
-
@cobaltasaurus No, I meant that action/adventure/casual/etc are all decent TS categories.
-
Let's talk about TS? Let's not.
