@arkandel Nah that goes in game development, this thread was very game development. And advertisement for a game is like Paris of the West over there. A full on pitch and even tho there is no connection info right away a teaser that says when we might expect to get more info. This post is literally "Hey we making thing, come to this place to pitch ideas" what is advertised? Fallcoast? But that game already has an ad. Wait are we advertising the chance to help get in the ground floor of developing a game? Do you see where I am going with these questions?

In this one! So what are you guys thinking to do? Can you please give more information to those of us who're not in the loop about the general intent about the new game, and how it will differ from (or be related to) Fallcoast? What made you want to switch over?

We’ve discussed this for months, since the beginning of February. It was never a personal XP cutting mission; people have always been able to take their living characters.

We will have tiers, influence, and lump sum XP. We will have theme and mood pages for each sphere, and we will be adding Skinchangers.

I did want to toss the possibility of discussion out at people because I want to make this new game on its own merits; revenge games never work and it was never our aim to make one.

I’ll do some more work with the wonderful people who accepted and then we will come back and show it here.

Yes, until FC turns off. I’m not really interested in being a story ender but I’ll bring my characters over. We might even do something where they can travel between areas.

I’ll get the admins to post a FAQ here which we will update as much as we can.

UPDATE: Things are still chugging away, slow and steady. We are pouring over all the news files and the like from FC and rewriting and going over every detail we can. We don't want this game to be TR/FC with yet another new skin, but a game built with a solid foundation that we can enjoy for years to come.

Basic Info: Miami Florida (Earth 23154) it is the thriving tourist metropolis that exists in this world today... and a whole lot more. 5 years ago, an event happened, a disaster, an earthquake/storm that scientist still struggle to explain and most rational discussion has been drowned out in buzzwords like 'New Fault line' and 'Bomb Cyclone' and 'End of Days', except it wasn't, and well, it passed and time moved on and the city recovered and rebounded.

Now, 5 years post-event, things are back to normal, even if for some people it is a new normal. Most of the outlying cities to the west got flooded, and nature has come back with a vengeance (faster than nature alone should wriggles story fingers) making the Swamp and everglades so very much closer to the city itself., and one part of the city still does not have lights (more story finger wriggling) but for many Miami folks, life is back to normal (OR IS IT?!)

We will have most the spheres that FC had, Minus Promethean.

Changeling Preview: As many people know, the Miami Freehold is featured in many of the Changeling books, The events in those books (Summer ruled all year with no crown changes) are more or less canon and come to a head a number of years ago. Now there is a new freehold in town. The Founders being Sun and Moon respectively, and now, the laws and crowns change every 12 hours, power being handed back and forth, one crown for the Day, and the other for the Night. The laws of the Day and the laws of the Night are different. Pc's may be of any Court (Seasonal, Dawn, Dusk, Sun, Moon, ((Possibly Directional I have not made up my mind))) But each member of the freehold aligns themselves to either the Day or Night Factions (With minor mantle effects, so a Spring aligned with Day and a Spring aligned with night will have different effects)). New Crowns will be dealt with through direct challenges with a cooldown period, rather than every 3 months like clockwork. Meanwhile there is a large (mostly NPC) faction of Old Guard Summer, still bitter about the change, and various other problems plaguing the community. Like hedge gates not closing all the way.
