So I'm only opposed to TS being posted because of how many people (myself included!) that read wikis at work. And while there is tagging (thanks, Fara, for including that in a recent update!), people don't always remember to tag.
No one wants inconsistency to lead to trouble. (And I guess sure there's the 'don't read at work,' but lol we all gonna anyway and what about during breaks? lunch? etc.)
Anyhow: so many people log errthing these days that I just assume the TS is logged.
I think it's simple.
Every scene on a game should be readable, or at least okay for staff to read.

If TS is in-character and has no OOC bleed, the tastes of the characters are in play, and are not in any way personally revealing of the players' own private desires

I come closest to @RDC on the issue, though I think they and I somewhat disagree on the ideal societal nature of it, what with me being rather personally prudish on the matter.
If we're going to have a discussion about writing erotic fiction collaboratively, we need to accept that almost all societies view sexual activity as unique, and American society views it as especially private to the point of being taboo. Whether or not one agrees with that is not really all that relevant, if the discussion is how TS works in the context of larger interpersonal dynamics.
It also means that most analogies to other kinds of human behavior are going to fail, because they simply aren't going to be appropriately analogous. I understand that we have our characters murder people and we don't murder people. I understand that we have our characters do all sorts of things that we don't do. But I think we should admit that certain behaviors between humans can lead to strong feelings of intimacy (go sing a duet with someone. or dance with them. You're gonna feel something, even if you're waltzing the most chaste waltz ever waltzed), even when those behaviors aren't happening face to face.
Personally, I felt weird having my character engage in a romantic relationship with another character while I was dating someone. My girlfriend knew about it and was not opposed, so I continued--but I (and I believe she, though I never felt the need to ask) would have felt like I was cheating had I not done FTBs when things got steamy.

I log everything into a master log automatically once I start playing a game. Is people being uncomfortable with TS being logged because it might be posted or is it the actual thought of it being saved somewhere?
@reversed I need samples and two references you won't get weird on me. And then you choose the vehicle: email or sandboxing in an MU of your choice.

Folks, please be honest (if you want to be). When it comes to TS how much are your characters' preferences typically an extension of your own OOC ones?
I don't mean that just in the vanilla way - i.e. that they have the same sexual orientation as you do - although that can apply as well. More specifically, whatever your kinks might be, do your PCs tend to have the same ones or not?

If you're asking me specifically?
I don't think anything that happens IC should be something that you're ashamed of other people reading. If you're nervous about being logged without consent, it's worth meditating on. On the other side of the coin if you default log everything it comes down to the reasons why.
So that you can go back and remember stuff or have a rolling log for reference material I think is fairly reasonable. If it's not for that reason it may be worth meditating on.

Once upon a time, I ended up having a huge blow up with a person who I played with semi-regularly over his inability to accept that because he knew I liked something in the bedroom, and a character of mine reacted violently (after his PC was ICly warned, even). It ultimately ended with me having to block him on discord and elsewhere because it ultimately came out how very very thin the IC/OOC separation was for him.
