@Wizz I find it not very good. Like @Arkandel said, too cheesy.
I'm in a similar boat. I tried watching a few episodes a while back with my family (who love it) and it was just a bit painful for me.
But I admit that I've gotten to a point where I am painfully picky about good writing in what I watch. It's kinda ruined me for just being able to sit back and turn off my brain for the pure-junk-food of TV and movies.

If you don't like campy/cheesy things, there's a solid chance you are not going to like it, yeah.
I mean, there's an episode with Bruce Campbell playing Santa Claus. That should tell you everything you need to know in advance as to whether it's going to be your deal or not.

Admittedly, junk food is not the descriptor for episodes like "...and the Heart of Darkness", but more or less, it is what it is. Or perhaps fair to say, individual performances in the show can actually be pretty hefty.

I've been watching The Strain. Kind of like a vampire/zombie/epidemic thriller. Really fast paced, and easy to watch.

Designated Survivor was a bit cliche but I liked it. So far my favorite piece between the new series I watched.
I wanted to like The Good Place because Kristen Bell but I couldn't.

The McGyver reboot is just sadly not that interesting. It's like Scorpion. I mean, honestly, once you've watched Burn Notice, a McGyver reboot just seems silly.
I did end up really enjoying the first episode of Lethal Weapon.

I wanted to like The Good Place because Kristen Bell but I couldn't.
I'm enjoying it so far, but I'll watch anything Mike Schur does. The end of the third episode made me interested in where they're going, since it implies other problems baked into the afterlife than just Bell's character.

I liked The Good Place a lot, and thought Pitch was okay. I'm waiting to see where it goes. Likewise thought MacGuyver was alright (I happen to like Scorpion) and just fits into the niche of CBS action procedurals. Clearly they're hoping to repeat the formula that's working for Hawaii Five-0, but it did very much remind me of Burn Notice.
So far the most surprising show for me has been This Is Us. It's not scifi, not supernatural, not anything amazingly special, just people living their lives, but the craft of the story and the twist at the end of the premier is extremely satisfying.

Oh, god, Hawaii Five-O is so ridiculous. I love how they basically just take all the ethics of fictional cops from the 1980s and early 90s and justify it with permission from the gorvernor. Lololololol.
And then I look at the real world news and I cry, because holy fuck.

I would say it was more then a bit cliched, that said it was well done while being very cliched so I will watch it. To me it is almost the definition of good TV keeps me entertained for the hour it is on, I don't expect it to surprise me but it is definitely worth the watch.

With their track record, I'm kind of wincing already at the thought that this season they might try to tackle a Black Lives Matter episode. @_@
