The Murderbot Diaries novellas are wonderful; they make me happy. Most relatable killer robot ever.
(I'm even more happy that they were so successful that her publisher has contracted her to write a full-length Murderbot novel!)

MSB is the gift that keeps on giving when it comes to tormenting my teenage children. Since they were home all day, I finally had the opportunity to interrupt their game of Persona that they were playing/spectating by asking through the doorway "So what does poopleg mean anyway?" to which they all responded "Oh my GOD!!!" and they scattered to their rooms and slammed the doors.
I still don't know what poopleg means.

On the upside of life: I ordered my first perfume from BPAL and it's amazing. It came with a sample that is ALSO amazing ... so I guess I'll be buying more perfume on my next payday, lol.

Also, if you're a BPALista....Lupercalia's dropped yesterday. They are my favorite update. If I had not just dropped a stupid amount of money buying @insomniac7809 a custom suit for the wedding, I would be piling things in my cart literally right now.
I keep telling myself it's okay though, cause he gonna look goooooooooooooood.

Denver teachers are on strike today (not my district). Today was our class picture day, and we did a staff photo to begin.
90% of our staff, totally uncoordinated, wore red in solidarity with Denver teachers. It was a really cool moment.

Cakes! It is my leaving presentation thing at work tomorrow and so I made some for my team. Not the most exciting cakes but they worked unlike the experimental batch at the weekend.
