Iyashikei Games?
-
Iyashikei is an anime/manga term for 'Healing'. These are stories that are just soothing and letting a reader/viewer just chill and decompress. No quests, no threats, no sexcapades, just slice of life in a small village or town.
Basically Animal Crossing without Tom Nook.
The older I get, the more I find value in these kind of stories. So, I'm wondering if there are any MU's out there with this kind of theme/feel? Most of the 'Small town slice of life' games seem to be centered on High-School or Hidden Supernatural Things.
Any suggestions?

@runescryer I recently had a character approved on Adventurers Not Wanted - https://anw.aresmush.com/
It might be something close to what you're looking for?

Atharia might fit that. We have 'adventure' plots going on but, in general, I try to GM towards the group over 'what I want'. So, if you prefer just chatting with X person, anything I GM will be that. I'm pretty set on no one doing what isn't fun for them. We're also a very casual game.

I've pondered a Napa Valley slice of life before. Like Dynasty but grapes/wine versus Texas oil country. An adult slice-of-life could be fun. But slice of live, not everyone's ex military or assassins or gangsters on the run, just regular folks so to speak. Calaveras aimed this way but we were lenient in some regards so it got a little jump the shark.

You're welcome to check out Keys. While it does have a story, the pace is very relaxed and you get only as involved as you care to be. If that means slice of life nothing supernatural happens much around your character, that's fine.
