Is it a MacBook power cord? Because if so, I'm sorry.
Normally I'm all about that Macintosh, but in that case...yeesh. Absolutely something to get upset about.

If you have one that's for a larger Mac, it will work. If you have one for an older Mac, it will also work with a $11 adapter assuming you don't have one of the newer Thunderbolt 3 Macs. If you do you're in luck, because those cables are around $12.
Do not, DO NOT buy third-party unless you're still under warrantee. The parade of melted power bricks and damaged computers show that it is not worth it.
OEM should be about $10 less. Look also for 'open box'. Hell, trampled on by an elephant would be fine if it's the Apple-made adapter.

Sadly, I only have the one Macbook, so no second machines around. And I won't touch third-party, no. And I don't have a car to be driving around multiple places, sadly. I hit up Best Buy in the hopes they'd have some open-box deals (they had some for other accessories, but sadly none for power adapters).
So $85 after tax it was.

Only upsides: the other one had been patched twice over with sugru and I can now leave the AC adapter half of the old one in my bedroom rather than carting it all back and forth each night.

There is a certain delicacy to the mix of a fluffy waffle and the fried chicken goodness. And some syrup to it, and it can be heavenly.
Most of the time, it's horrifying.

I want to try chicken and waffles but everyone seems to say it HAS to have syrup on it and I don't like maple.

I usually stick to safe food, meaning stuff I know I'll probably enjoy, when dining out.
A few weeks ago, I took a walk on the wild side and had BBQ pork over jalapeno waffles.
It was surprisingly good, both in taste and texture. -
I disagree, but mostly because I had chicken nuggets dipped in waffle batter and deep fried that were FUCKING HEAVENLY. I've also had waffles that had bits of chicken in. Those were likewise delicious, although they were not even close to fried chicken & waffles. (Apu, you don't have to have the syrup.)

Chicken and waffles = hangover food.
I do not wanna be dealing with bones while I'm hungover and tucked into my sofa, damnit. I just wanna be tearing into a takeout container with wild abandon, stuffing my face. -
Never had true chicken and waffles though I did try the Popeye's limited time thing with the waffle batter as breading and it was pretty good. Not a big chicken fan in general though, but the mention of pulled pork on waffles sounds yummy as hell.

I have had a bite. I'm normally pretty good at trying new things, but nothing about it was appealing, not the mix of flavors, not the textures, and certainly not the syrup and I'm normally absolutely gaga over maple syrup.
I just accept it as something that people say is awesome but I don't care for. They can have it; more of everything else for me.

I barely like waffles.
The idea of perfectly good fried chicken getting ruined by syrup is beyond me.
But I have an anti-sweet tooth. With rare exception if 'sweet' is added to something, I am lass happy then if I had the thing itself.
Now give me a rich sausage gravy and a biscuit with my fried chicken...
