I am in so much pain I can't see straight. Been just about two weeks now. Doctors can't figure it out. In the ER for the second time. Have no idea how to cope with this. Also, wait time here is terrible. Ugh. Thank goodness I have insurance.

Ah, for some reason I thought this was a recurrence of a past pain. Fair enough, then; I hope it's cured and doesn't cross into chronic, either way.

Oh, yeah. Listening to me talk that's easy. I do have chronic pain due to some old traumas, but this is (maybe?) a kidney stone they can't find and won't pass. The whole thing is just impossible.

Right? I once had someone get offended that I mispronounced the name of the city they lived because it basically looked like someone had transcribed the sound of someone speaking in tongues.

@surreality I don't remember. It was a name that I'd never need to pronounce again, so I wasn't determined to remember it. I think it was in New York, maybe?

The natives found it hilarious when I'd try to say 'Cuyahoga' back when I lived in that region. Especially since so many damn places have it included in their name in and around the Cleveland area.

I will not lie, I've had moments doing complex database queries where it finally comes together in and in a moment of sheer victory I find myself quoting Josh from West Wing: "I drink from the keg of glory; bring me the finest muffins and bagels in all the land."

Update: I need input from a project leader, but they're off having dinner or a life or something. Why isn't everyone going about their life by my schedule? Additionally, how in the world is it that I'm Eastern Timezone, but yet I can't manage to get my schedule synced with the rest of everyone I know?
