@Auspice Not trying to burst your happy bubble, but I would double check that you get paid. When I was a contractor I didn't get paid for holidays off like that even if the office was closed.
Not saying you won't, in fact I hope you do, I just want you to make sure you know positively and can plan accordingly.

@Ganymede I know it sounds counter productive, but what really helped me quit smoking was vaping.
Once I switched over to using a vape I started with .4mg nicotine, then a few weeks later went to .2mg, and then a few weeks after that 0mg, and within a few months I wasn't even using the vape anymore and had zero cravings.
At least that is what worked for me. YMMV.

Edited to add: One way I deal with it is set an alarm to go off the time the meeting is supposed to start, so when it goes off I know I have to get up and leave.
I always have two alarms for anything important:
- Hey you have to go soon.
- HEY YOU REALLY HAVE TO GO NOW
I do 3. One at 15 minutes, one at 5 then one when I need to go.

@Rinel Ah, so I am not the only one reading the book at watching the show at the same time! Though I am almost done with the book and just started watching the show, so I think I am way past season 1 as far as TV show goes just by finishing book 1.

At first glance it just looks like drop one for the other and get more for the same price. Now the details make the anger understandable.
@Wretched Yes, but it was quickly quashed when I got caught by a cop at the local mall sneaking a couple of D&D modules out of a Waldenbooks by stuffing them under my shirt.
Little did the cop know I had a stash of 20+ other ones I had already grabbed and stashed in a fridge in the Sears down the way that I went back later to get.
Edited to add: This is back when I was 14 or 15, in the mid-late 80's.
