I just got asked if I'd be willing to be a 'lead' for the project and here at the office. On the project it'd just make me a go-to for assisting people and certain escalations... basically things I'm already doing.
In the office, it'd mean I'd be able to open/close the office (alarm codes).
But above all: it comes with a goddamn raise.
I actually follow a few bullet journaling (type of planner) accounts on Instagram....

This is just amazing.
My kitten has straws as toys, to help with teething. They're good for kittens. They can bat them around and they like the feel of their teeth sinking into the plastic. Plus, straws are hella cheap.
He is also one of those cats who will 'drown' his toys in the water bowl after he's done with them.

To be fair, calling Microsoft Outlook an "email" program, in air quotes, seems fairly accurate to all my experiences with it.
So being caught up on both Orville and Discovery...
I prefer Discovery. Orville is OK, but it's bland. Sorry, guys, from my perspective, it is. It's predictable enough that I'd wander off during episodes to do other things and half-listen in the background. So it's cute, it fills a niche, but it's eh. It's Seth Macfarlane's vehicle to get to be the hero! the guy who makes out with hot chicks! everything else feels secondary, including the story.
Discovery, on the other hand, continues to engage me. Today's episode was good. And the teaser for next week? Goddamn. But then I admit a sort of soft spot for those types of episodes. I can't help it.
Two things.
I know there are people out there who will insist womens' restrooms are always worse, but I worked at a bowling alley for about six months. I had to clean both.
The mens' room was always, always worse.
Edited to add: Who the fuck doesn't put the seat down? Leaving the lid up when you flush sends germs everywhere.
The guy in my office.
It's an office. There's tons (ok not tons but more than I know/trust!) of people. I don't know their cleanliness habits. So having to touch the seat is... yeah, like surr said. It's no bueno. Plus it just looks sloppy to have a damn toilet seat raised all the time.
One thing my ex-husband did right was make sure the seat was down. And lecture his friends if they ever came over and left it up. Why? He once fell in while half-asleep. He knew.
But it was always funny when he'd give a friend shit for it. They'd always look at me and then start to cut in with a 'Oh, does she have you whipped?'
And he'd be like 'No motherfucker. I fell in once. That shit sucks. PUT THE SEAT DOWN.'

It doesn't work.It should, unless they stopped shipping TCL with MacOS. Did you try starting it as 'wish main.tcl'?
I don't recall what exactly went awry, but I tried the steps in the github link I posted earlier this thread and couldn't get it working.
But the one person who has ever gotten it to work (by my knowledge) said it crashes frequently. I think having Potato back would be undercut sorely by dealing with it crashing often.

Supergirl needs to just... be Supergirl. Like, Girl of Steel punching things. I love the sister dynamic with Alex, but the show needs more Kara punching things. But I'm one of the few who loved 'angry Supergirl punches shit' in the comics, so...
But it's on the CW. So sadly, it's 'relationship drama with a dollop of action.'
