Confession time! I really like paranormal junk, it's the reason why I play WOD and of course you know, you got to get your inspiration/fix somewhere right? I'm not big on beauty gurus (though I do watch a couple on occasion especially if I'm looking to buy something I watch reviews), not big on political anything, definitely don't watch any gamers - I don't like video games generally.

But give me aliens, bigfoot, paranormal stuff, ghosts, demons, and conspiracy theories. Give them ALL to me. If there was a PhD in "wtf" I would definitely have it.

So here's some of my favorite weird youtube channels. Please share your weird youtube channels too. I KNOW I am not the only one out there.

General Weird/Horror
DTTV Studios - Sumerians! Ancient Aliens!
Amazing Stock One of those "TOP TENZ" things, but usually curated a little better than the average.
Creeps McPasta* - He narrates fiction, as a pose to presenting "facts" like most of the other channels here.
Strange But True Stories! - Same with this guy, he narrates "true" stories. Great voice to fall asleep to.
Quest TV
Gaia TV Interesting new age channel. Sometimes has juicy interesting tidbits to mentally chew on.

Bigfoot
Bob Gymlan He doesn't give much of himself away, but he does profess to be a primatologist. Highly doubt this, but you can look into some interesting bigfoot cases through the lens of someone presenting bigfoot as an undiscovered ape species.
Buckeye Bigfoot Bigfoot stories, nice to fall asleep to.

Aliens
Destination Declassified Aliens, top tenz style with a british accent.
LA Marzulli LA Marzulli is LA Marzulli. I have based more than one character of mine on him and his ilk - someone sitting out there with conspiracy theories that seem a little stretched in the middle of the desert broadcasting from the inside of some camper. I mean I don't think he's in a camper, I think he has a studio room in a house but pretty much the same thing. Adore it. Interesting interviews sometimes.
UFO Stop It's your one stop for UFO stuff. Not necessarily like, the freshest (go 90s alien tv!) but it's my staple type of entertainment.

Crime
That Chapter - Okay, bit sized crime stories but also paranormal junk very rarely. Irish accent is adorable.

I don't know.

Today, I woke up. I mean, most days I do but this is 5:00 in the morning and my husband was screaming.

Screaming for me to bring a bucket into the bathroom.

You can guess what I thought. We have a six year old and had delivery pizza last night. (Salmonella hoooooooooo!)

But no, no when I get there it's a snake and he is screaming and standing up on the toilet. I felt like I had stumbled into a tom and jerry cartoon.

The snake has wedged itself between the wall and the toilet pipey thingamabob.

I can't get the snake out, I mean it's just a brown house snake and it's harmless except for NOW MY MOTHER IN LAW IS ALSO SCREAMING AND MY EAR DRUMS. ALSO MY DAMN SLEEP.

But it's the funniest thing, and now my husband is telling everyone it charged him while he was on the shitter and I can't stop laughing.

This is why you shouldn't leave your windows open in Africa. It's not often we find pythons, they're usually adders. And watch out, they charge.

She's lucky I don't call my guy and arrange a surprise exorcism.

For all my life I have used regular shampoo. Had problems with dry ass scalp giving me flakes as a teen, the worst dryest split ends... and now for a couple weeks I have been using low shampoo, or cleansing cream (ok, aka afro shampoo) and I am absolutely in love.

@Arkandel No, sadly I'm no monster. Have you seen a basset hound's sleepy face? It is weaponized cuteness!

@Alamias I feel for you. Sames here (puppy training). I think they have the "idea" of it but needs more enforcement to be concreted. So tiring.

So, this is not the first time he'd been bitten by a brown recluse.

Just over a year, maybe closer to two he was bitten on the ass. yeah, it was bad.

It turns out that one of the places he receives stock from in the USA (a guitar manufacturing company) is over run with them.

He receives the stock and wears protection now, but the problem happens is when the guitars are brought into the storage room, they get comfy and creep out.

...And then up my husband's leg to say how do you do.

He wears tightie whities so I'm not sure how it got that close to his jimmy jangles but there you go. My husband's luck. They're spraying for them now to hopefully murder them before anyone else gets nailed.

@too-old-for-this Yes. Wool is the DEVIL. I can't even. I stick to cotton.

And when I go shopping before I even seriously look at anything, I touch it. It's never been an issue but last year I took my husband for a shop for a few new things and he took issue with it because corona.

@rinel He was running, like pacing back and forth in a panic. I managed to get him over by pulling up a lawn chair from the inside and as soon as he was on top of the planter (about hip height) he wrapped his arms around my neck and I carried him down the other side.

My English wasn't good there, I was pretty exhausted. Sorry! Still probably not great.

My sister in law, who's staying with us for a while, is refusing to get the vaccination because of microchips. Afraid the gubbermints going to get into her broke ass's bank account or something.
