I think I -just- missed you on Firan but I definitely remember playing with you when you were Lysanor/Brynmor.

I wouldn't say it's -hard- to figure out, but there's a bunch of commands you'll be oblivious of until someone tells you about them because there's not much help file documentation.

The upside? Pretty much none of it is actually required to know in order to play. You can pretty much just pick up a character and go, and figure out the smaller knick knacks later.

lol seems like that one guy who declared Thrax was doomed shortly after Max was revealed to be there was right.

L&L because I like fantasy and WoD requires me to read a rulebook if I ever wanna get into it.

I think the initial reaction re: Custodius entering Arx was that the staff believed they could reign him in if he went overboard with his shenanigans, but then you get staff laying the banhammer on players with good reputations who may have been having an off day while someone with a horrible reputation continues to exist there because he hasn't been caught yet.

Or maybe he has been, and they've ignored it, which is even worse.

I enjoyed the like two scenes Silas had with you and was looking forward to what plans you had for Thrax. You will be missed.

Recipe for an Arx combat beastie:
SR 8/9 (for the starting xp bonus)
5 strength/5 dexterity/5 stamina/4 willpower (who needs social / mental stats amirite)
Weapon skill at 4, a smattering of other combat skills at 1-2
Excellent quality HQ steel sword and armor, leather with you wanna be dodgey I guess

The combat skill tax will make you cry when you start investing in it. There's still very few people on the grid capable of teaching most combat skills above 2, too, weirdly enough. I'm not sure if it'll -stay- that way, but it's not an easy climb even if you dedicate yourself 100% to combat-oriented stuff.
