I thiiiiink because it had to do with the local area Changelings being part of Concordia, and the Undersea Changelings having their own kingdom, but it was a zillion years ago.

RE: TheOnceler’s Playlist
Two of them were Changeling games. One was set in Minneapolis/St Paul, and the other was set in Santa Cruz. I think the third one was multi-sphere, and don't know where it was set.

Twin Cities by Teatime, of which I think there were three versions?

@faceless said in Regarding administration on MSB:
We have one. It's called the Hog Pit and you can call someone a deplorable piece of shit that you wish would have an unfortunate encounter with a Greyhound(the dog, not the bus)
HEY.

@mietze has kittens and they took me hostage.
(This is not a complaint.)

RE: How should IC discrimination be handled?
The Taurons may be thugs, but it's really the filthy Sagittarons you need to watch out for.

RE: How do you construct your characters?
I take ideas from anywhere and everywhere as jumping points. Sometimes it's about how I want to play a particular concept in terms of their profession or talent, sometimes I see a PB that intrigues me and makes me wonder what kind of life this person would have, or how they might fit into the genre I'm playing in. This is especially true for Changeling, looking at playedbys from various fantasy and scifi shows that make me wonder how they'd translate visually, what could they be?
This is making me want to start a PB Challenge thread; someone posts a PB, and other people come up with concepts/histories/pitches in various systems, genres, etc - serious or funny, whatever suits.

RE: RL Anger
@tnp It's a lot harder to do when you're anxious and have had to psych yourself up to even walk in the door.

RE: RL things I love
@auspice You know, I have no idea? I'd say post a question on the event and see what Kiah says. She gets a new box of stock weekly.

RE: RL things I love
I am very into Lularoe, a fact on which I somewhat blame @Auspice. The clothing is pretty, once you try on a particular style you can order as many of it as you like in different colors/patterns and will know for sure how it will fit. There's also no price difference for a size S versus a size 2XL, so you don't get that bullshit where plus size clothes cost more due to having more fabric.
I'm hosting an online sale Nov 21st, if any of the ladies here (or men. or non-binary people) want to check it out, send me a PM. To be clear, I am NOT a salesperson, I am NOT trying to lure anyone into a pyramid scheme, I just want to share the pretty. Buy, don't buy, ask questions, lol at my hilariously bad selfies, whatever you want.

RE: RL Anger
@aria Oh my god, I feel your pain. The last time I got my hair cut, I told the hair dresser I wanted this (I brought her multiple pictures):
Clearly you can see that the hair slanting from the part is one long continuous lock of hair, right? She cut me a fringe bang at that length and I wound up looking like a poor man's Velma Dinkley. I cried for a week.

RE: RL things I love
So there's this lady at my workplace who wears a wig and is always dressing in long skirts and blouses past her elbows and I asked her if I could ask her a personal question and followed that up with "Are you Orthodox?" and she said yes and we spent ten minutes gossiping about local synagogues and how Hanukkah decorations in an office are always lacking and I'm just THERE IS ANOTHER TRIBE MEMBER IN THE OFFICE!

RE: Health and Wealth and GrownUp Stuff
@Auspice: here's the thing. You shouldn't be hopeful. Hear me out.
I spent almost four years unemployed, despite constant searching and a genuine desire to return to the workforce. And at first, whenever an interview seemed to go well, I allowed myself to become hopeful. But then I would get the inevitable letter or call informing me they made a different decision, and I would get crushed and there would be crying, and it would basically be an emotional shit show.
I don't know how good you are at managing your expectations; some people do it better than others and it's a skill I had to learn over time, and still don't entirely manage perfectly. But my advice to you is, after you've done an interview, you can certainly acknowledge that it seemed to go well...but then you have to find a way to let it go, and go to the next thing. Easier spoken then done, but if you try, you may find you will weather the process of finding employment in a much healthier way. I've literally had someone yell at me for this particular advice, only to come back to me a few months later and acknowledge that I was right.
