Except this policy apparently applies to people who idle out, too, which does not in any way constitute having unequivocally given up the character.
Why doesn't it?

Bacon is a stupid man's flavor additive. There are plenty of better, tastier, cheaper substitutes.
You. Off my planet. Now.
I did not say I didn't like bacon. I love bacon.
I'm saying that only stupid people use it as a flavor additive. Because, frankly, there are better, cheaper, tastier choices out there. There's nothing bacon adds to a dish that salt and lard couldn't accomplish.
For instance, in an omelet, I prefer chorizo over bacon. Around here, chorizo is a fair bit cheaper.

Sexism is bad. But when a bunch of girls are engaged in high schoolish drama, the comparison to Mean Girls, a film about high school girls involved in drama, isn't exactly evil.
There are a million other ways to describe the hand-slapping than to fall back to a meme that's so fucking gay.
(See what I did there?)

I should probably play that game sometime. I hear good things.
My opinion is personal, but, based on my personal experience, I can say with no hyperbole that the story in The Last of Us is the best I've ever played through. Ever.
If you don't mind a little spoiling, watch this. Then go play through it.

(Disclaimer: my obsession with this game is well-documented; however, if you're going to be obsessed with a game, it should be worthwhile (as opposed to fucking FF7).)

Anonymous complaints are the single worst way to reduce drama in a body of human beings that has ever been conceived.
In the American Justice System, people are entitled to face their accuser. This is why, except in limited circumstances, there are no anonymous civil complaints. In MU* land, however, we have no obligation to adhere to any higher sense of justice or morality, as MU*s do not hold the power of life or death over you.
I don't like anonymous complaints. As an adjudicator, I want to know who the accuser is. But that does not mean I have any obligation to disclose this to the accused.
It is far easier not to be an asshole.
Despite conversing on this already, I'm not exactly sure what they are looking for. It's not so much the "black person from a single parent home," so much as the same if they profess a love for fried chicken, smoking weed, and loving krunk.
Mind, I think Lil' Jon'd make a fun concept to play.

I would honestly encourage people who like this model to try their hand at making a game that follows it.
I tried to do this on Fallcoast.
I am putting together a proposal for coders to set up a game that follows RfK's model.

Make XP gains based on Conditions/Aspirations/etc., with minimal passive gains, if any at all, and then just make it fucking brutal.
That's often not good enough. If you want a brutal game, I'd suggest awarding Beats only under the following conditions:
In a scene, you:
AND
It sort of forces people into lethal situations. The gamble is that, if you fail at the end, you get nothing.
