      @Arkandel

Who pays that much attention to the A-D Team?

That said, every goddamned point guard is going to be in his face all the damn time. Beverley is a solid defender, but can you imagine putting Harden, Westbrook, Irving, Thomas, Paul, or any other damn fine PGs on him?

He's Johnny Football. He's got the talent, but he's going to wash up hard.

As for Melo? Yeah, he looked happy because he didn't have to carry the damn team, or feel the need to. Or be in the limelight, ripped on from all sides. Westbrook will be the shining beacon, and all Melo has to do is play the game. Plus, he was playing the Knicks and still got 22 points, which was better than Westbrook, who got the T-D.

Yeah, agreed. And also his dad did him no favors by painting a gigantic target on his kid's back and turning him into a project for every NBA veteran who wants to show the rookie what's what.

      He's going to get killed.

LeBron James had 25 points in his first game in the NBA, right out of high school.

Kobe Bryant didn't score a point until his second game; however, in those two games, he only had a combined 9 minutes on the floor.

Guess who had 3 points in 29 minutes? Lonzo "The Second Coming of Johnny Football" Ball.

He looked and played like a chump, getting out-played badly by Patrick Beverley.

      Who's Patrick Beverley? Exactly.

      Chump.

F&L: quite good, actually, some drama threads on here aside. Would recommend if their NPC system doesn't offend you.

I think that the Guest Star thing is over? I recall seeing a post to that effect before. It could have been isolated solely to the Vampire Sphere.

I didn't mean to imply that there was a lot of PvP violence, but there is a lot of NPC violence. If that's your thing, that's cool. My PC, Wes, just isn't built for that -- in the slightest -- and much of my motivation for returning for a second round of play left.

Oh hell no. Mobile games are almost exclusively P2W. The War one with Kate Upton in the commercials? It makes nearly $ 750, 000 a day.

And yet, Fallout Shelter is so much more enjoyable.

The F&L Vampire sphere is inclusive, but it is oriented towards physical violence. Heavily. The players are fun-loving, but be prepared to be a heavy-handed fighter.

Speaking of which, early in season, but Edmonton at old tricks again, damaging draft picks in earlier years or something.

People keep saying this, but I don't think they know what the fuck they are talking about. Edmonton's problem is what it has always been: a lack of defense.

Yeah, they have looked dreadful through the first six games.

The first six games of a 80+ game season.

I mean, you could blame Antti Raatta, but he still has a .911 save percentage. That's better than your vaunted Devan Dubnyk, who is sporting a .893 save percentage and a worse goals against average.

The problem with the 'Yotes right now is a lack of scoring, which is bewildering.

Still, they are a point behind Edmonton, two points behind the Rangers and the Habs, and three points behind the Sharks and the Wild.

Eldritch is no longer up. I think Dragon Age MUSH is not up either. VASpider is dominating Fate's Harvest.

Fear and Loathing isn't a bad game, but it's not the right game for me.

Don't know about the other two.

Really fucking good, actually. Physics are spot-on, and the controls aren't too sensitive. Checking is more realistic. And you get to micromanage errrrrrything with your franchise. Don't like the price of nachos at the Air Canada Centre? Knock it down or jack it up -- whatever!

Drafting and trading remains horrible, and you still can't extend contracts.

Holy shit. That's so evil I have to step back and appreciate it. Buy this instagib cannon and we will guarantee you multiplayer matches against people that you will one hit kill. That's beautiful.

It is, but that's why I'm playing Horizon Zero Dawn and NHL '17.

It's a nice bag, but it's been brutal for walking 2 miles a day.

Messenger bags suck, and are only useful if you have to wear a jacket (which gets badly rumpled with backpacks).

I should mention it needs to be able to carry a 15" Macbook, plus a couple books/notebooks (since I usually take my textbooks/notebooks for class along with me to work on at slow moments at work).

Hence, the need for straps about the chest and mid-section. If you're chesty, you can clip over the top of your breasts. When that weight is strapped firmly to you -- which won't happen with normal shoulder straps -- it's like the shit loses half its weight, I swear.

Honestly, go to Dick's or another sporting store and get a hiking/running pack. My partner uses a bag that we had for racquetball, and it's perfectly comfortable for her.

      Check this one: https://www.underarmour.com/en-us/ua-storm-contender-backpack/pid1277418-040

Under Armour makes nifty bags that connect at the chest and mid-section. I had one of these for years, until my partner left it in the park after the twins' softball. >.< These take weight off your shoulders, and shift it forwards and down. Trust me when I say that a secure pack makes all of the difference.

But, check Dick's for bags that suit you. They will cost you a lot less. Smaller is better.

      @wizz

I think it's a good idea to go with rotes only, with Arcana describing what rotes you can use. When creating the rote, the author must be as specific as possible. To activate the rote, roll Gnosis + lowest necessary Arcana.

Eliminate the Orders and Paths. No more favored or opposing Arcana. Or free point of Resolve of Composure. Just buy the Arcana and the Gnosis, and the rotes, and play.

Without a coder, that pretty much leaves you down to FS3. (unless there's a pre-build Unisystem game out there somewhere I'm unaware of, which would be cool)

I think the Shaowhunters game was Unisystem, as was a survival-apocalypse game whose name I can't recall right now. And I think Buffy was Unisystem. Betcha @Cobaltasaurus knows where to find one.
