War Against the Pure gives rules for creating were-alternate bonuses. It's not another CB book or anything, just a small blip at the end of the book for "creating your own".

Well, it sounds more like CB is really just a way of making it recognizable. Using WW's version of CBs is, on the whole, more balanced anyway. Then making GMC conversions that line up with the material trickling out of Onyx Path, it probably won't be the mess that CB is, making CB more of a quick reference name than anything that goes below the surface.

Get rid of shadow, gifts and magic and most of your problems go away. Don't know if that's the plan, and I'm not really advocating it, just suggesting it might not be as bad as all that if the mechanics are tweaked from the start from better sources than the CB book itself.

You might have noticed, but most things on these forums get updated automatically, no refresh necessary. Some of the things that might be flying under the radar however:

• Tags. Each topic started gives the option of adding some helpful tags. We're at the very beginning of all of this, so if you think there might be some potentially useful tags for categorization, feel free to add them.

• Chat. If you go to a user's page, underneath their user image you should see a chat button for, you got it, chatting.

• @name. Using this will notify the person that they've been mentioned by you in a post.

@Angie @Kireek The layout comes with the forum software and it's a bit sparse on themes. There should be a new version of the forum software coming out and with it a new layout we can test. If you're on the homepage, you can go to the bottom right corner of the page and you should see a double-sided arrow which will give you a more compact view that might be more to your liking. The abundant white space is simply due to us having only a handful of categories. We can try tweaking the look somewhat, but overall it isn't likely to change too drastically since I think the forum software itself is pretty snazzy.

I know you're maybe hesitant about yet another Washington Game, but it seems like it'd still be a good setting for something like Changing Breeds. Particularly if you're looking to allow for sea-shifters.
