Also something to note about GMG is that any time you see a $ it's USD, so if you have to convert it's not always cheapest.
ETA: 17 games available on GoG Connect now too.

I don't try to understand, just share the pain. When I saw the link I thought it was going to be along the lines of the woman who married the Berlin wall or something. Nope!
Yeah. I'm just glad that it hasn't been touched since then. Memorials where people post to the person or AS the person? Can't handle that,
Double post but seriously? A frost warning? It's not even October!
Supportive +1 rather than that's cool.
Because you pretty much described me, except add in my mom dyed her hair and tried to lie to everyone that she grew up with and family about how old she was at my grandfather's funeral, and sold all their stuff, and I told he to stop contacting me when my grandparents passed as I was being civil with them for her. The worst is my dad though because he keeps apologizing for her, she wasn't like that when they married and he feels bad she doesn't contact me. I just shrug it off and say if she really wanted to contact me she would. I really don't care. Last time we talked I said it wouldn't be until she got some professional help, and I'm am fine with it. It only bothers me because it bothers dad because his parents are getting older and he they talk every day and she's my mother. I completely get being blank about a parent.
I write. You know how it says all the people are made up and all that? I have a reoccurring nightmare that I get published, and there is a real bitch of a character, and mom sues me. Not because I said anything nasty about her character, but because she feels she should get profits from my book because the character is like her. She's that kind of person.
She also slept with a clipping from the newspaper of Prince Charles and had a major hate on for Diana, as if she took something away from mom.
And then Facebook has to go and tell me "Hey, remember that friend you had who died of cancer years ago? It's her birthday today! Wish her a happy birthday!" Thanks for reminding me, Facebook, of how old she would be, if she were still here. I really needed that!
Yep, I've given 3 people mine and no one said anything about it not working for them, so I assume it does. That plus a few hard drives I've gone through now and it still works.
Pain to use with Windows 8.1 but not painful enough to want to change.

This is about two days away on a boat, a week or so on horseback. We don't do travel-times, they keep people out of RP, but I did tell > folks to keep it in mind and not travel back and forth all the time. This player had a PC who was hopping back and forth every 4-8 days > for a couple of weeks. (This hopping creates the impression that he's around both areas most of the time, and thus he's able to Win > Friends and Influence People freely in both areas, when in IC reality he'd be traveling most of the time, so this is a no-go.)
Probably figured the game had TV show physics. Some people really got around, especially last season.
@surreality Cops in general don't know how to deal with online stuff. There are people online with millions of followers who have basically gotten those followers from bullying people online. or communities like have been mentioned in the fanbase entitlement thread, driving people to suicide over fan art.
Some people have been prosecuted for SWATTing, but the internet is basically the Wild West - except there are hardly any sheriffs around and the ones who are don't even take a loaded gun to the standoff with the bad guys.
I can't imagine going to school today where everyone has a cell phone. All the people who think it's cute to mention what sized dump their kids took today, or people who check in everywhere they go. Leaving any sort of presence online really isn't safe. Because people are dicks.
People are dicks.
Sadly this isn't anything new online. Happens all the time in video gaming; posting personal information and death threats when moderated, or they don't get something they want. Some of the bigger people on Youtube habitually call out people they think are "bad" (or just simply don't like, when you have hundreds of thousands of followers it's easy to get that information out there.) Hell SWATTing is a thing (people call the police while someone is livestreaming and say something like "This guy has a knife and is hurting people!" when in reality are playing a rogue in WoW.)
I'm just surprised given some of the people in this hobby that it's not really happened before now.
@il-volpe You can probably get your number changed if it gets bad because of harassment, and they likely won't charge you, if it gets that bad. Sorry to hear that it happened at all.
Always when playing a shooter and never when fighting a spider.
I'm never going to get tired of people calling with some nonsense and hanging up on me when they think I'm lying that I am an adult who can take their call.
It is still kinda weird when someone comes on the stream and asks if I'm a boy though, but I'll take it.
Bunch of games have been added to GoG/connect so don't forget to log in and get your DRM free copies of games if you have them on Steam.
I just got yelled at by a gnome for not wanting to group up, he kept spamming how stupid I was to me over and over until I ignored him. Then all my warlock pets drowned until I cast unending breath on them.
WoW, I've missed you while my computer was being a jerk.
Only really irritating when they change things once you have a spawn window set up and it breaks it.
<smug> My grandmother managed to block me on Facebook for several years It was so quiet and peaceful. </smug>
Except when dad would ask if I saw something she posted on his timeline, because I would have to tell him again I couldn't see anything of hers because she had me blocked. It was the price I paid for fewer Mars will be as big as the moon tonight! posts.
@Arkandel The key uses registry settings. I'll keep both yours and @Tat 's suggestions in mind if it happens again. It's only happened the once and seems to be fixed now. Or fixed itself.
@TNP I didn't know you could turn off blinking! Of course I just shut it all off so I wouldn't have known anyway.
@Derp It's all good, it was pretty easy to figure out.;)
@Sunny Joke or not it is a reason I like SimpleMu. I can make staff channels green. Otherwise I stopped turning ansi on about the time people started using colour in the descs, or blinking anything, really.
