Sera asks you how you can walk if you are a human female in a relationship with Bull. Other than that I guess she really pisses Solas off. Iron Bull and Blackwall get a nice warriors bromance going on. Every time she goes on about the little people, I get the Les Mis song stong in my head.

My current play through I'm streaming / uploading I play on normal with friendly fire off because the Santa that got it for me for Christmas was doing Templar and he wanted to see the mage side, but he's the type where he's put over 100 hours into it again and just doesn't want to touch the game for a while. Friendly fire off, and I never use the tactical stuff. I do all my selling and crafting when I'm not recording, and am just playing it through for story. So of course the silly hats are on, and the persistent gore remains. I'm going to romance everyone (but Vivvenne) and I'm going to try and out-bitch Vivvienne too. Let's see how much furniture she can have moved! All mages, all the time. And Alistair is king.

It's been well established that I suck at games though as three hours into The Resident Evil remaster and I still hadn't seen a Crimsonhead. In my defence though, I hadn't played it in a decade. And I must be doing something right since someone bought me Alien Isolation to watch me play it.

    • RE: PRP or SRP

Oh yeah, I'd always send a page asking if people minded if I dropped in. I was never much one for Rocks Fall, Everybody Dies either, so usually the only way combat would happen on PCs when I dropped plot on them were them taking the first swing. If they are busy, then I would move on. But I feel if you are out in public you are opening yourself up for public things to happen.

But, the only danger you should have for being out in public is that people see people gathering and suddenly you're swarmed. But if you have a nemesis who is bent on ruining your day, don't be in public... or don't take a nemesis, because as an ST I'm going to eventually stop asking you if it's convenient for this inconvenient thing to happen to you.

If I just wanted to write a story that people got to read, and couldn't participate in, I'd write books.

I don't really see combat for combat's sake as plot anyway.

    • RE: PRP or SRP

I miss when I would randomly thrust plot on to people who were sitting in public areas. Because I was bored. I didn't have anything else to do as staff, and usually I had approved the sheets and knew about the dark secret or what have you. Or just... to do something but not really in the mood for personal RP. But that seemed to fall out of favour with players. They were already doing something, in a private scene, you see. Never mind it was in a bar on the grid. Never mind people had been looking for RP when I cooked up my scheme.

But now if you even look at a sheet when you aren't on a job to look at that sheet, you are wrong wrong wrong. Or at least if not wrong, you get a side-eye. If I can't be trusted to look at sheets in the first place, I probably shouldn't be staff.

For me when I played, it was the playing in a plot, not who ran it. Well, it was a little bit who ran it, but mostly because of style, not substance.

And if you ever get jealous of a person who has an invisible boyfriend, you could always just mail glitter to them (Uh, probably not Safe for Work)

For the most part it's accurate for me, except when it just goes NOPE! and sits at white space.

(Also I prefer the old way, but don't really care much either way).

Theme Hospital is Free right now on Origin.

      https://www.origin.com/en-us/store/free-games/on-the-house

      Of course it requires Origin..

      Also Free:

      https://www.humblebundle.com/books

Not the whole bundle, however: "Each day at 11 a.m. Pacific time, we're offering a different free issue from Image Comics -- including ones from this bundle! Enter your email below to receive a download page where you'll receive each day's free comic."

Only 24hrs left on that bundle, but they often to that when a books bundle is a comics bundle.

I've been told things carry on as you go so that's one reason to start from 2 and work your way through.

On the other hand, I've been told That 2 is the weakest of the series in terms of gameplay.

The fact that it takes 8 to 10 business days to take money from my Canadian bank account and put it in to my Canadian Paypal account.

I take that back; it takes my money away immediately, but it takes that long to show up in the Paypal account.

Nebulous Canadian loonies floating around in cyberspace when I want to buy things.

    • Cheap or Free Games!

These are all updated pretty frequently, so if you are looking for cheap games, make sure to check out and bookmark these links:

Origin gives away free games every few months.
UPlay is giving away a game a month right now to celebrate 30 years of Ubisoft and sometimes gives games away as well.

      Stores:
      Steam often has sales.
Good Old Games has a store and often has sales. (You can also get free games for signing up). - They are also going to start their own Greenlight type project.
HumbleBundle has bundles and the store which has sales ever so often.
GreenManGaming often has games on sale, and usually cheaper than Steam (if you are Canadian, anyway).
DLGamer has keys and sales too!

      Bundles:
IndieGala does several bundles a week, and discount the bundles even more usually for the first 48 hours.
Fanatical does several bundles a week too.
      DailyIndieGame is pretty cool too!

IsThereAnyDeal.com is pretty good for checking up on things if you randomly want to buy a game cheaply.
GameDeals subreddit is a pretty good place to check out too.
PCGiveaways is also a good subreddit with free stuff!

IndieDB has daily giveaways. If you sign up for the newsletter it will mail you every time there is a new giveaway, and it'll also tell you if you won or not.
Alpha Beta Gamer has lots and lots of betas if, like me you are leery of pre-orders now.

Arise or something, Edited. Groupees is trash.

The 'differences' you see are minor cosmetic and dialogue differences.

Unless, of course you piss Vivvienne off and she starts re-arranging furniture around the castle.

      @Ganymede said:
@ixokai : You faced the Ferelden Frostback; that's the issue.

Also, most of the Dragons are level-gated as well, with exception to the first one. So if you got all levelled up and buff and thought "Damn, I'm level 20 now, I can go kick that one dragon's ass!" No. Sorry, that dragon has likely levelled up with you.

I had to restart several timez. Once because of approval rating. And once brcause it kept fucking taking my armor off and I went into that final fight in formal wear for my inquisitor. And then all the times that bitch killed me.

I would have been in that same boat, only I never fought her. I did restart hours into to the game because my character's ears were too big in the cutscenes.

I'm going to be doing a livestream playthrough, siding with the mages because I have a couple of friends who went Templars and want to see the other side, but are already over 100 hours in and don't want to see it badly enough to play through it all again. I'm also going to try and out-bitch Vivienne, and try to piss off as many people as I can with the choices. And hats. Hats will be worn, always.
