Backed. Wanted it. I am going to love this!
(Also 40-.00 will get you books from NOW (being hopefully Oct. 2016) until Doomsday ( sometime in 2019 judging by the amount of books and maps I am getting as PDFS).
But now this will maybe cause a good 7th Sea game to appear!
Yep. I have confirmed as of this morning that every member of my tabletop group has pledged enough to get 1 or more books digitially, and one went high enough to get the 4 physical copy pledge.

"Go Team Venture!"
One of the few shows I've bought each season of.

RE: RL Anger
I wish I had some good advice for you. The only big dog I've ever owned was this Husky/Lab mix that never barked at things he couldn't see - and only growled when people seemed threatening to others in the house.
I have a friend who owns a Shepard and he did some barking control training with a clicker? I don't know the details on it but I could ask.

RE: Good TV
I agree. I think that's why I love the movies so much. In fact it's the Bond marathons on the holidays that are about the only things I miss about not having cable. I think that even the bad movies are good for what they are - a James Bond movie. It's supposed to have over the top villains with preposterous plots.

RE: Good or New Movies Review
The Hateful 8. Great cast. Interesting setting. Tarantino! I love his films mostly.
God was this a disappointment to me. I had hoped for a good western and...ugh. I'm glad I didn't see this in the theater.

@Pondscum Do you think Tom can do the physicality of Bond? He doesn't strike me as the action hero type. Of course he may be the action hero in that movie/show as I have never seen it... now I must find.
I think he'd be more along the lines of the suave stealthy Bond like Timothy Dalton or Pierce Brosnan. Craig is definitely the more action oriented Bond. But I think every actor has their different 'flavor' of Bond.

RE: RL Anger
We have traded our upstairs elephants for upstairs minks with a barking dog. So now I am not awake at 5am because elephant herds are stomping around - I wake up at various hours because the barking dog barks at everything until you can hear someone yell at it or it finally stops - half an hour later.
Any car door slamming in the parkinglot? Barking.
Anyone knocking on any door on any side of the duplex? Barking.
Voices in the parking lot? Barking. And then whatever it is they are doing upstairs to make the dog bark. I love pets. Pets are great but damn people learn to teach your dog.

RE: 7th Sea Second Edition
I browsed a lot of reddit about 7th Sea 2E yesterday. I'll see if I can find the specific thread but really the talking points boiled down to the 2E mechanics being lackluster and not having the consistency or ease of the 1E mechanics.
Some of the playtesters were saying the game added more complication to the system which took the streamline of combat out and made it a little more clunky.
It won't change my pledge though. I'm quite happy with what I've seen of the game so far. And pirate booty. Mmm pirate booty.

I am still for this but the reddit thread that is about the new editions is not encouraging.

What do you find are mods that would make the game world more "interesting"? I can decide if I think it's interesting, but I can't start without recommendations. Start from the heart.
I have, myself, found nothing on Nexusmods that I find interesting except the weather and darkness mods. The dialogue mod is also a must-have, because the game suffers from Mass Effect Syndrome where what you select doesn't represent what you'll say. A bizarre decision, to be sure.
These are the mods I've most recently found that I enjoy the most, besides the winter weatherscape mod and the dialogue mod:
Game Alteration/Quality of Life Mods:
Hardcore Mode - http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10399/?
Satellite World Map - http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/8989/?
Companions V2 - http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/8975/?
For Player Settlement Management:
Where Did I Put That? - http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10271/?
Build A Castle - http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9044/?
I saw a mod that puts Bioshock design textures into the game from Infinity, but I have not played with it. To do a real flying settlement you'd probably need the mod that removes the ceiling caps at some of the settlement locations.
Cosmetic Appeal:
After The Fallout Texture Overhaul - http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/7803/?
The Rebel Clothing Set - http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/10382/?
NCE Ranger Veteran Armor - http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9034/?
New Weapon:
M9 Pistol - http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/8421/?
M9 Pistol Grips- http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/8792/?
I have played with a few other of the new weapon mods out there - a gatling laser rifle for example, and a couple of other New Vegas imported rifles but this one is the best overall to me because it makes better use of my horde of .38 ammo laying around.

No. No this does not.

RE: Fallout 4
I cannot judge what you would find interesting in the way of mods. There's a few seasonal mods out. One that turns the commonwealth into a winter landscape and ices over the lakes and whatnot. Then there's one for summer that adds denser foilage to trees and bushes. But you did mention those.
In the world building sense I know there's a mod that removes the collapsed wall terrain from the castle and a few quality of life mods that makes playing the Sims game easier. I have not played with those so I cannot vouch for them really.
But take a look at what is available at Nexusmods and see if there's anything you like.

While it doesn't matter - there are a ton of mods that give you nudity.
That's nice, but I doubt there's as many brothels. If there's one thing I learned from the Witcher, it's that there's a brothel on every corner, apparently.
As for Avallac'h, yes. He is a wretch of a being. But did your dislike for him come before or after the discovery of the laboratory.
Before. He's a dick. I wanted to slit him up the middle. I'm pretty sure he banged Ciri, and forced her to have sex with others.
But, I digress.
True. And also probably true. At least in one instance I know of he tried to force her to have sex with the Aen Elle King.
As for brothels - why not make your own? Move all your female (or male) colonists to one location, build them a building with beds. Use the lightboxes to name it Porky's or something. Drop the trading post bar. Open for business. With a nude mod (or a lingerie mod there are those) you can make them worth spending bottle caps on.

There are a lot of mods out there Gany that make it better. Granted - Bethesda shouldn't rely on the mod community to fix and improve their game. But they did. I recommend going to Nexusmods to look some up.
Will those mods turn an otherwise dull world into something interesting?
Yes there are mods that actually add more color to the world and improve the general textures of the environment. Will it make the hit-registration of my melee weapons better or faster? Will it allow me to dodge an attack?
No. Melee weapons will still be boring (even with the OP potential) in Fallout 4. Dodging will still be running as far as you can. Will it provide me with a lot of gratuitous nudity?
There are mods that remove the undergarment textures and replaces them with full nude textures. Some more textured than others in detail. You can also download a mod that will replace some of the generic posters and signs in the game with nude pin-ups. And I saw a mod called The Emperor's Clothes, that makes all clothes in the game invisible - so the whole game becomes something like a nudist commonwealth. Except power armor. Not that the latter means anything, but I was simply reminded of why I like games with less open-endedness and more storyline. Also, fuck Avallac'h.

So, I started playing this the other day. After 4 hours, I was reminded as to why I started playing -- and am still playing -- The Witcher III: The Wild Hunt.
It's a bad sign to be bored in 4 hours. I'm getting old and impatient.

@faraday I agree completely. The best fun to be had in ShadowRun, as ShadowRunners is when you can come up with a team, or at least a group of people who can play at the same time as you so you can end up /as/ something similar to a team, at least familiar enough with each other's playstyle and capabilities that you can make a plan accordingly.
Agreed. The setting is extremely versatile. My tabletop group for Shadowrun right now involves four former Lonestar who formed a team with some of their more capable Confidential Informants to do work in an Equalizer-style of justice.
