@Auspice we have the same here. Sure, we grind to a halt when there is snow or ice, but most of my area is on a 45degree slope, or on a road so narrow we have to drive back a way to pass something coming the other way (or both), with streams across them and all manner of things.

@Aria thanks I admit to being a typical health care bod, and listened to my chest. It is just two different bugs... And I have asthma. So I upped the meds.

I have been sick since Christmas. Three different bugs. I am bored of this now. I was coughing and struggling to breathe for two weeks and now a headcold. BORED. We have a selection of drugs on the kitchen side for whichever stage the household is in at that time.

(my daughter started working in a primary school - it is a Petri dish)

I also don't have a story of my own but.

At a discworld mud meet, in a pub, the barman comes over and tells us two of our lot are shagging in the toilets. When they came upstairs, they got a whole pub standing ovation. It would have been before photos easily went online but I do still have a picture of one of them gesturing his opinion at the camera...

I love that story! So well told too

I hate that feeling and know it well. It's something that all makers feel. I have a few stitches on my current piece that are pinching each other and the fabric and I know they will ease out, but I am fighting myself not to rip hours and hours of work out to fix just these 4 stitches.

Altho she keeps telling me they are red pandas but I doubt it.
