It looks very much like him, but I don't know for sure. The tells all are all the from that read and from what they said on Brandnewday. There is a ton in common between this guy and Isaac's pc, including in writing styles, type of pc and voice. But there are a few diffs that make me not fully certain. Idk. But the bottom line I guess is that if someone is acting way if they are not a famous creeper, it is not okay. Rightmeow experience was so close to mind that someone though I wrote her post and she was me!

Can anyone who has had experience with him, give me some of his tells? Think might have had a run in with him, but not sure. Feel free to PM me too.

I agree with you both on this. Pcs are the special, the characters and we should be assuming there are plenty of average npcs around.

That being said it still can be sort of suck when onels character was not allowed to be special/beautiful etc when most other characters are and the average normal expected thing for a pc seems to be to have this special.

I agree with you a lot. I have found when people try to limit the special, they generally do mean they want to limit it for others not themselves or their buddies

The only way to limit special non-toxically is to have the same rules for everyone, like maybe one special alt per player or something. .

hehe, I am 5'6 with long skinny bones which is a bit on the tall side for a female. I love to player shorter characters! But I never play shorter than 5 foot as I don't like to be like I am the smallest ever either.

I also often play characters with curly hair and I have pin straight hair. So sometime there is I would love be short with curly hair behind my character looks.

The whole if everyone is exceptional, nobody is exceptional on mushing is def a thing, but it is also hard to mitigate as trying to do so can lead to only staff alts and the alts of staff friends being allowed special things as it is only human nature to make the case-by-case exceptions for one's self and one's friends.

So I played a game where I was told no to taking striking looks as they were trying to limit it. It was a small game and most characters were staff alts and ooc their friends. I get ic and every single female character I ever saw but mine own had striking looks in some kind of hot/beautiful way. So she was the only average looking female character on the game, which make her less average on a game where everyone was strikingly hot.

That is a good way to view it. I have wondered while being on a wod game how to respond to over the top appearance stats/attraction related merits. Maybe to look at as they are gorgeous to most of the world, but pcs still have some agency in how they respond, is a good way to think.

An one reason I don't like the appearance stat on wod is that I don't like appearance to be ranked, especially with some world of darkness characters having the ability to increase their appearance over 5 and go I am the most hot, you have to respond!

I prefer a beauty is in the eye of the beholder type of rp. I mostly like wod, but that element is like, I don't love ranking appearance levels.

I have seen people pose things like the littlest blonde smiles, the biggest guy in the room grins, she has the kindest smile ever, her eyes are the brightest shade of blue one has ever seen

And I am like just stop hehe...

And even seen such result in ooc arguments into the room. Someone poses they the most tiny and the next person is like oh, yeah my character is only 4'7 so there! Or the opposite someone poses they are tallest present and then two peeps are comparing character heights like they are measuring their dicks.

I do not like est, most type of rp for that reason!

Smallest, most beautiful, brightest blue eyes one ever seen, biggest, hottest, strongest., kindest, smartest, etc

Because while it might be a fantasy to be most of something - it of infringes on others who are like hey my character is pretty hot too!

I admit that I def have elements of wish fulfillment in my RP. That doesn't mean I am 100 percent seeking wishes granted or that I don't consider how my character being too perfect effects rp, but it does mean I will often play attractive, appealing to me characters who if I was part of the world in question, I wouldn't mind being. I also have played aspects of myself and had characters that share some of my passions. Is that good or bad? I guess it depends....

I would rather be honest with myself about it than go yeah these are completely characters that have nothing to do with the things I like. It helps me to consciously balance things if I am self-honest about it.

There are some things though I like to avoid playing which are like me in real life.

While I make the occasional exception, I generally don't like to play healers, nurses, medics and etc even though I know a lot about that all, I come to games for a break from that. I sometimes even play characters super different than me who are troubled by wounds and etc.

I generally play small boned females and I am a small boned female, but the play bys I pick out are prettier than me as I were playing an idealized version of myself

I been through a lot of life trauma and I generally don't like to play characters who start the game with a lot of past trauma. In fact I will go the opposite on that and often play characters who start innocent and had a happy childhood.

And sometimes my characters are hyper into plants, I am considering making a plant changeling girl and I am hyper into plants.

My characters often reflect my open minded pansexuality as well. Although sometimes they are less right in the center al of the Kinsey scale than me and I have played characters who lean toward preferring women and one's who lean toward prerering men.

I never been able tog et into the mindset of a male character or even a fully straight character as i I don't know how to rp being straight or male!

That being said sometimes wish fulfilling can go to far and be annoying for others and bad rp. Like being annoying perfect without flaws or getting too invested in avatar and too emotional. I have been there, done both of such.

So the question is when is wish fulfilling too far? How to keep it fun for others? Do others here wish fulfill in rp? Can it be positive? Is it sometimes negative?

Like getting to a warrior hero for someone who can't be such in real life, might be a a good experience.

But playing the perfect pretty princess that the player expects everyone to adore could be negative for that player of said princess and those around them.

I def been annoyed at some characters that are over the top seen as perfect and right about everything by their player and who rp unrealistically, doing way more with their time than is human possible and etc.

I almost want to trail of onto a different topic about Wish Fulfillment that Faraday brought up, because that is pretty true!

But maybe I should make a new thread for that, ponders!

There also is a lot that could be done to make things safer that mangement/owners are not willing to do because it would cost money and the owners are rich.

Probably leaving my job and off work for a while - I haven't fully decided what I am doing and when/if going back. I don't want to go into too many details, but had two recent head injuries from assaults on the job and I think staying to begin was a mistake as many here did try to tell me!

I was talking with a friend oocly about what games are active and how to judge that. And we considered things like 100 people could be logged on, but if everyone has 4 alts, it is really only 25 people and if everyone is idle and dark with no rp going on, the game might not be truly that active. So I made a quiz for activeness of game!

1. How many bits are logged in during prime time hours generally.

A. More than 100
B. More than a 50
C. More than 25
D. Less than 25

2. Is lot of the logged in character alts, npcs, a billion staff alts?

A.Most people are likely logged in with 1-2 characters
B.Lots of the players have a bunch of alts.
C.Staff has lot of npcs logged in and many players have alts.
D.Staff an their friends are playing most of the bits logged in. There are not that many unique players despite log ins.

3.How many people are idle more than an hour during prime play times?

A.25 of the percent of the people logged in or less are idle
B.50 percent of the logs in are idle
C.75 percent of the log ins are idle
D.Most people are idle most of the time.

4. How may people are visibly on the grid during busy hours

A. 50 people people show up in +where are out on the grid
B. 20+ people show up on +where and are on the grid
C.10+ people are show up on +Where and are on the grid.
D. Less than 10 people are generally out on the grid.

5. How many people are in hangouts during peak hours- public or sphere in which one could just drop in and rp with.

9. How responsive is staff to jobs related to plot/story

A. One can tinysex and bar rp of they want, but there is so much deep plot one doesn't need to fill the time with such if they are not inclined.

C. A lot more tinysex and romance than plot, but enough plot to add some spice at times.
D. It is all sex and social chatter. How about that weather! I will bring the chips to the weekly orgie is the main action.

11. Is there rp during odd ball off peak hours?

A. Yes, absolutely, I can scene at 3 am if I want.

12. Can anyone who tries, acts right and rps decently find plot/rp/inclusion

A. Absolutely, all welcome here who are acting right and ready to rp!
B. Sometimes, but not in all aspects of the game.
C. Most of the action/plot is reserved for players with certain ooc connections.
D. Anyone not part of the game's main clique is not ooc welcomed.

B=3 points

12 points is a dead game
24 points is a slow game
36 points is a active game
48 points is a very active game.

Also I don't think I am alone in this, but a lot of failure is fun for me. I have had some amazing rp from crit failures/botched rolls.

Sometimes it is easier to dramatically fail a roll in a way that becomes and interesting/intense storyline vs a low key failure.

I often would rather trip and break a bone in combat, than just sit their swinging a sword and not having impact on a battle scene.

It a more fun storyline.

and on a similar line - it is easier for deal with a failure that really is a failure - I failed my roll, I had bad luck, I had my character do something stupid. That is all easier to deal with than if I am making my rolls successfully, but the gm is ignoring that i the write up of their story.
