@ThatGuyThere My kids don't follow sports, so I'm not worried about it. XD He just happens to like bright orange and royal blue. And you know what, there's few enough white kids that can really pull off orange, I'm happy to let him.

@thebird And this is why I'm happy to have boys. Nobody questioned when I would take them shopping for Power Rangers or athletic shorts. Nobody questions my youngest wanting to wear a bright orange tshirt with blue basketball shorts. I would hurt people if I had to shop for 'girly' things.

Gotta say, I'll be slightly glad when it's more than just a fish tank experience. I think I'd prefer the commands over a gremlin screaming in my ear at two in the morning for not making food fast enough. At least there's some kind of interaction, with commands? I don't know. Seriously, you will hit a point where you will look back fondly on the days of baby in a bouncer, or where the mere insertion of bottle to mouth would stop the noise. The scream sucks, but its NOTHING compared to the 'I'm Hungry' game. Or when they learn mobility. Suddenly, its a non-stop game of chase, fetch, catch, pleasedearGodwhyohwhydidyougivethemLEGS. Also... screaming for no reason? That becomes a thing. There's nothing wrong, and you will tear your hair out trying to figure out what IS wrong without ever figuring it out... they just want to see how loud they can be and how long they can sustain it. There will be the screaming tantrums, in public. If you're terribly unlucky (as I was with my second), you will STILL be sleep-deprived, because your child can apparently subsist on two hours of sleep and fart jokes and they will rise with the sun and begin the demands for breakfast (no not THAT cereal, the OTHER cereal... or maybe eggs. No, pancakes. BANANA pancakes! God help you if you don't have banana's for banana pancakes)... and it just gets 'better' from there.

@Arkandel That's true enough, for now at least. XP accrues pretty quickly on Reno, so dinosaur XP can still happen. BUT... yes, at least for awhile it will make for some great ability for players to really shape the spheres.

@Arkandel Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... the situation with Vampire@HM also lead to Elsa taking over both ICly and OOCly... and then doing nothing and not letting go. So while there was an uptick in initial activity, it died out pretty damn quickly... and then killed the sphere completely.

These are my current pair. The big orange tabby is DJ, the calico is Glitter. This is an odd moment of normalcy from them, you usually have to wait for them to be asleep to catch them on film together.

Ehhhhhhhh.. there's slow and there's needlessly slow. If I'm not mistaken, Lithium made his/her character around the same time I made my alt wolf. My alt wolf has been approved and playing for... a week. Seven days as of today. So the same day my alt got approved, Lithium's only character added the one note fix that was asked of him/her... and then has gotten zero response.

I would say that's gripe-worthy, when the people you went through cgen with are out and RPing for a week while you're still waiting for a +approve because of a note. Jobs were told they would be slow... I've been hearing that since apping my first wolf. None of them have been that slow. I would hazard to say that Lithium's app fell through the cracks and they are now justifiably upset over it.

@Cobaltasaurus I would absolutely agree that the game was rushed. I kinda feel bad for Wendigo because it seems like she bent to peer pressure to open the doors before the game was actually ready, and then pressured again to open alts before she could get a handle on the initial apps. So just... compounded mistakes on top of half-finished code on top of RL crazy. Its like Reno is cursed.

@Cobaltasaurus It depends. There hasn't really been a ton of consistency in how/when a bit gets approved for play. Neither of my Werewolves was approved before having all +notes attached to them. That includes Professional Training, Kuruth Triggers, Touchstones, and any pack stuff like Den or Totem. The xp spends, however, had to wait til post-approval on the second character because they changed how cgen was going to happen in the middle of that character's job. So not only did I have to put the spends into the job, I had to turn around and put them in again in +xp/spend format. Which is, I believe, around the same time Lithium's character went through as well.

@Lisse24 Check out Play & Trade and Gamestop. They have retro consoles that can play all the old Nintendo games.

I've yet to get an emulator to function properly, and in looking at that link, nearly HALF the games on there (and all but one of the games I would want to play) don't even work for the emulators. Also, doesn't fix the problem for people that want a retro system for their kids to play on.

There's other options for getting the older style of consoles. Sure it won't be THE NES from the 80's, but it will still play the cartridges. And Gamestop is currently selling all the old games it has. Play & Trade markets specifically towards the older consoles and tends to have the cartridges, too.
