I agree about the mules to an extent, but they still know what they're doing is wrong. You could argue that the guy sitting in the call center is 'just trying to make a buck and feed his family'
The Yuppie Nuremberg Defense, "Everyone's got a mortgage to pay."
Look, I'm not saying that -I'm- arguing that, I'm saying you could, but I agree that at the end of the day these people are all criminals that chose to benefit on the suffering of others.

This is hardly news, but if you're getting Moderna 2, just make sure you're okay to be incapacitated for awhile. I kinda ignored that, and now I'm sitting here with a fever and chills and baring my fangs at god.
I had to take two days off work this week for just that. Fortunately my company is just straight up giving people free PTO for vaccinations and vaccination recovery and my boss is really supportive.
But yeah. No joke. I actually didn't have fever or chills, I'm sure others have had it worse, but everything ached and hurt to do, and I slept until 12-1 two days in a row.
My wife's company is doing the bonus PTO as well. Everyone on their 2nd dose gets the day of and the day after automatically, whether they're sick or not, and they get more if needed.

The most important step against scams is educating potential victims.
But it is nice to see scambaiters wasting scammers' time and occasionally taking down the heads' of operations.
Messing with the mules is less endearing because they're clearly marginalized people who wouldn't need to go this route if they were paid a living wage by their employers.
I agree about the mules to an extent, but they still know what they're doing is wrong. You could argue that the guy sitting in the call center is 'just trying to make a buck and feed his family' but again.. he knows... what he's doing.... is wrong.
At the end of the video though, Mark acknowledges the same thing. The most important part is educating people how not to be victims of scammers.

@ortallus What they really want is a cataloguing librarian. Which is particularly ghastly, because while not all autistics are cataloging librarians, cataloging librarians are kinda notorious for being autistic more often than not.
Oh, after the post I saw about a Netflix show asking for photographers to work for free, I wouldn't touch anything Netflix has to do with a 10 foot pole. (See my post here)

Ability to take requests and intuitively provide potentially unspecified results.
This is a job qualification, listed on a call for applicants.
Is the job posting for a mind reader?

@coin The Alex Ross portrait of Barak Obama as Superman was so iconic, DC created a Black Superman in 2009; Kalel, aka Calvin Ellis, Superman of Earth 23. Also, President of the United States.
Saw this on FB earlier and it made me think back to this comment....
and let me just say, I'm so fucking here for it....

They turned their wrath to Marilyn Manson.
Well, one out of eleventy-billion ain't bad.
The problem is they turned it on his music, and not him as a person.

The fact that my state sill has not legalized recreational pot use. You know, it's really something when every single state around you has legalized it and is likely just raking in the tax revenue to the point where state politicians from neighboring states is mocking your state leadership for 'thanking them' for keeping pot sales illegal.
At least my city has decriminalized it, even if it literally means nothing to state and federal law.
Honestly, I don't know if pot would help reduce my tinnitus slightly, but really, I'm willing to try just about anything. Also, not for nothing, but I do miss it.
And then, there's Oregon...
