@Sparks Myself, I have memory issues and I sometimes have a hard time knowing what I learned IC and what I learned OOC. I'd rather find things out ICly, so there's no confusion and I can react organically to things.

RE: MU Things I Love
Meeting a player you click with instantly and you both want to rp with each other a lot, but you're both super reasonable and polite about it and go through that little "I don't want to monopolize your time" dance before scening again for the fourth night in a row.

I'd be totally down for a Ravenloft game. Deadlands could be cool too. What I'd really like to see is a darker themed superhero game. FC or OC but something along the lines of Savage Worlds Necessary Evil where all or most of the heroes died fighting some cosmic villain and it's left to the villains to save the world from total devastation. Or something along the lines of Dark Avengers/X-Men or Justice Lords from JLU.
Or something that embraces the madness of Rifts. A game where any character(mostly) is feasible.
A Ravenloft MU would be exactly what it would take to get my husband into the hobby

There also doesn't seem to be a BSG game running right now. Love me some BSG.

I'd love a L&L game set in Sharon Shinn's Twelve Houses world

RE: King of Sex Mountain
Yo, I'd just be happy to be the Baroness of the Sex Dunes or the Viceroy of Sex Escarpment

RE: What do you eat?
I'm much more likely to eat meat if it was hunted/wild caught or came from a small family farm. I'm fine with the idea of eating animals, but I'm not okay with the practices of large-scale meat production and the associated environmental impacts.

RE: What do you eat?
I'm not a strict vegetarian, but I only prepare meat in my household once a week, and that's usually goat. Goat farming is much more ecologically responsible than most other meats. I will very rarely eat beef, lamb or poultry, but never pork.
I think the rise of plant-based alternatives are great, and I love that it's becoming mainstream.

RE: RL Anger
My asshole ex-uncle had a creepy automatic weapon collection, but he kept them all in a safe that he had a hard time opening, at least. He had a creepy panic room, too.

I MUST KNOW WHAT WAS SAID IN RESPONSE TO MY STATEMENT ABOUT IRREGULAR LATIN VERBS
"Because I kept tripping over the syllables and sounding like an idiot, mostly."
Then I realized the post above was about school shootings and it just felt gauche.

RE: Real World Peeves, Disgruntlement, and Irks.
I'm doing so well at not making any overt snarky commentary about one of my worst childhood bullies having a cancer center named after them. Well, I was, anyway.

Do you have military coverage?
Medicaid. I was living in Canada for the past six years while I was in grad school and ended up having to come back rather abruptly this past January (tl;dr don't try to be your own immigration lawyer)

RE: RL Anger
I've been on this one medication for several years now. It helps control my extreme pain from nerve tumors as well as my PTSD. Now that I'm back in the States, I have to fight tooth and nail with my insurance company to cover it. I don't know what to do.

RE: RL Anger
Right now I am irrationally angry at the Latin verb "appropinquabamus". IDK why. It just feels like it's fucking with me.
