@Thenomain I mean taking an established character and just doing whatever the fuck with it feels lazy to me.

The WrongFun comes in with playing a canon character in a non canon manner.
At that point, you might as well have made your own character. It feels lazy.

Tattoos! Got this lil buddy as an impulse yesterday. About the size of my hand, about an inch and a half above my knee.

RE: Dragon Age: Dread Wolf's Rise
I'm not trying to say that people who do this are having wrongfun, but I personally don't get the appeal of playing canon characters. For me, half the fun is creating a character that's compelling and interesting to me.

Man, I'd love a Dragon Age game without canon characters. Someone needs to do this.

@Thenomain If so, that's fucking offensive.

I'm a homeschool teacher for two little boys and I sometimes play music on my phone while doing light housekeeping tasks. Today, I overheard the boys arguing over who gets to be Angelica (from the musical Hamilton). I died.

@Apu In my time there, I really never saw that to be the case. I admit, I only joined shortly before the Mountain plot, but the only times I saw them bring their PCs out were for social scenes, really.

It is a shame to see that the two of them have yet to realize that a mu* should not be all about them. But it is like they want to be the puppet masters and everyone else are their little puppets.
That's really, really not fair. Sure, they liked to play with each other, but I didn't see them propping up their PCs and being assholes about it and giving unfair advantages to their favorites like I've seen people do elsewhere.

I can pick good restaurants anywhere I go, or even in places I've never been

I genuinely didn't see any of these problems, and I was far from a star player. I tend to be shy as a player when it comes to putting myself out there and I was peripheral at best, completely forgettable at worst.
I'm not going "EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT" because I'm sure there was loads of stuff I wasn't privy to, but for me, I'm just bummed at losing a place where I was finally starting to feel comfortable putting myself out there and getting involved.

I'll admit, I'm disappointed. I'm kind of shy when I start new games, and I was just starting to get really comfortable there.

@Sunny At least in Ontario there are many policies which are make invalid by, y'know, actual laws. So whereas a place might have 'no pets' as a condition doesn't matter, because after you move in you can bring your dog and they can't do jack about it.
The only catch is that if you state in advance you intend to do so they'll just not lease to you for undisclosed reasons.
One of my favorite things about living in Toronto are the robust tenant protection laws.

It baffles me how many times I hear business suing over Yelp reviews. Do that many people trust it? Because when I first heard about it, I thought: Well this is going to be a cluster of nonsense. How can they have any reputation?
I once had a dry cleaner harass me over a bad Yelp review

I swear to god, I haven't had a celebrity crush since I was a teenager. This man, yo. This one. He's beautiful and funny and smart and unafraid to swear like a fucking sailor and his politics are on point.

Last night I was kind of a little too high and I was explaining to my husband that I love him, but I /also/ love Jason Momoa.

Not only that, but incredibly boring outside of the tournaments.
I had a character that was supposed to be a mover and a shaker in a political marriage. I was looking forward to scheming with my PC husband. He just wanted to pat me on the head and tell me to make babies.

Also, due to high risk of allergy in the general population and the relative severity of that allergy, support cats are problematic, at best.
