@Misadventure TLDR, Cujo intentionally ignored and swept away sexual harrassment and bullying behavior of Hadrix, and then promoted him to staff. When his actually active staffers voiced concerns. They were all banned, their character bits removed.
The game is essentially dead now as a direct result of a headwiz promoted a trash player.

@Thenomain I didn't think the MB/Mouse was total crap in playing it during the Alpha but the game does need some work. Mostly the yaw sometimes was irksome.
Since you brought it up. RIP Andromeda, I had such high hopes for you.

Mushclient. I like it, I do. I don't have all the functionality I could get out of it. But I'm old and hidebound sue me.
I did like where potato was going but, I haven't spent enough time on it yet.
I've also used duckclient, and that wasn't too bad.

@ortallus In comparison by my experience. Steam was far more responsive than Epic. I like epic games, but this platform doesn't impress me in general.

Thus far, I do not think it does. Sure it looks amazing. It certainly has an interesting primary story line (which explains the lack of human NPC's). Some of the events were entertaining.
But the game mechanics themselves, and the perks system isn't growing on me. I have hours left of beta to play. I logged out. The friends list mechanic is horribly broken. The fact you are region and server locked is irritating in an MMO, and counter-intuitive.

I just want to say that while you bring up worrying notions of balance, even without my having read the book, this makes me grin with glee. Any game/system where Stormtroopers are scary, elite fanatics is good in my book; any game/system where Stormtroopers are hapless mooks is bad in my book.
