@misadventure Turn off Roll20's video and voice options, use Discord (or your favourite chat program that all the other players/DM shoudl have). You also don't need to purchase anything to play Roll20, at all. The extras are nice to have, but not a requirement. Figure out, beforehand, how to set up initiative, and a map/background for people to play on. There's more but I am at work. xD

@tinuviel Woop, sorry, let this one get away. Erm, I actually struggle to be able to tell the differences between muck, mux and mush, really. I've no real preference between the three. I don't want a mud, though, I'm getting too old for the twitch reaction required.

As someone who still idles on the grid instead of the OOC room, I find that people tend to come to me when I do that. I do also ask in OOC and occasionally PUB, but most of the time, people show up in the IC room I'm in and inquire if there is RP to be had.

I'd like to see a Starfinder MU*.

My first mu* was a mud named Redemption. I messed around a bit and didn't make much headway, until I convinced a friend to join me, and we made the dragon siblings Ying and Yang (me). Many good times taking the fight to the bad guys, and as many good times playing the bad guys.

With the passing of Dark Spires, and the imminent closure of Mechanipus, seems like all I have left are memories.

Loved his character on DarkSpires. Humour is the best and only weapon against this darkness and Branwen wielded it sharply.

I'd like to get into a World of Darkness, Chronicles of Darkness or a Shadowrun muck. So far all I have found are ones that are dead, or teetering towards dead, or stillborn.

Currently looking for a new FATE muck, since the one I was on just recently closed.
