There are three mods I would recommend you look at. All of them are simple to install, you just run the provided installer. Each of them does slightly different things. The most complete mod out of all is Camarilla Edition, but Clan Quest is fun too. Final Nights is a fun mod, but it can still have some bugs, so approach it with caution. Also, you should know that while Camarilla Edition and Clan Quest just modify the original game with new options to make it better, Final Nights is meant to be an entirely new experience unlike the original game.

Take one part Mage: the Awakening, and add one part Mystic Empyrean and one part Planescape. Shake vigorously and pour into an overpriced glorified tabletop RPG box set. Add dashes of Kill Six Billion Demons to taste.

While very surreal and imaginative, you could convert it to numerous systems to avoid the C&D.

I so badly want to play DUNE, but I don't own it and also don't have a group who wants to play it. I'll just have to satisfy myself with Star Wars: Rebellion.

Remote play is pretty cool. I have a heap of stuff too. I'd play the games.

(Real talk if people would be interested in the long haul actually playing through secret of mana remastered could be hype or somethin' I dunno.)

Ark is right. It wasnt a personal trolling, and outside of the Hog Pit we shouldn't personally attack. I make plenty of dorky comments from time to time like Tyche did.

On that note...

AKKKSHUALLY the MU code really only assists in authentication onto the game. Connection is handled at the host level, which redirects incoming connection (probably through a switch) to the specified port. From there the protocols on the host and client maintain the connection. MU code has little to do with it.

In the first set of things to do, you have to fight someone with your fists. And the FPS fistfighting system was painfully stupid.

Like, I don’t mind a learning curve. And I don’t mind fistfighting. But this part was so frustrating, it turned me off the entire game.

Lessee, what else... I have Little Fears, a seriously disturbing horror game. The PCs are children menaced by the denizens of Closetland that want to drag them away. It's kind of a weird mash-up of the childish (you can fight off the monsters with the plastic ray gun!) and the really, really adult (thinly-veiled, or not at all veiled, references to abduction and abuse). The second edition ("Nightmare Edition") tones this down. It's a really well-written game I'm not sure I'd ever play, even if I found a group.

Cat: a Little Game About Little Heroes, by John Wick. You are a cat. The monsters are coming for your person. They can't see the monsters, but you can. (What did you think the cat was freaking out over?)

Kagematsu, a really short, structured samurai RPG. One person is playing the titular ronan, the rest of the players are village women trying to convince him to stop his wandering and defend them from the inevitable doom that threatens their village.

Sorcerer: probably the best-known RPG I'd still comfortably count as "fringe." The players are sorcerers who get power from bound demons. It comes at a price.

I just gotta say: fuuuuuuuuuck the SOS task to get 10 formidable pixies.

I get common and imposing but in the past 2 weeks I've gotten only 2 formidable.

@Cobaltasaurus — I think it depends on the game. Smash Brothers? Mario Party? Breath of the Wild? Those I like to have on the TV. Some, like Mario Kart, I can happily play either way if I'm playing solo; local multiplayer needs the TV. But for certain other games, I genuinely prefer the handheld experience: Octopath Traveler, Pokken Tournament DX, Kirby All-Stars (no, I don't know why I prefer handheld to TV for this one), Sonic, Little Dragons Cafe, and so on.

Found it! It's another Alan Bahr Tiny d6 game, but it's not on Drive thru anymore. Going to have to nudge him to see if I can still get a copy.
