So I have decided that I am going to make a Twitch community-based guild for my WoW Classic guild. Going to name it ThePotatoSquad, or some iteration of that if that's too long. Going to be Alliance side, since I think that's what I am going to play the most. Poke me once the game's live if anyone's interested!

Yes it's Vampire the masquerade 5th edition. @Thenomain . @Ghost There is several I assume but none on days that work for me from what I can see, the only WoD games available on my days are 20th edition or chronicles (2e)

Man, there seems to be no end to the free Star Trek RPGs that exist on the net. Finding them and giving them a quick look was a good way to distract myself this morning. Here are the two that stood out to me...

Far Trek

Looks fast paced and quick to get into. Seems to have a decent amount of support.

Where No Man Has Gone Before

Uses the Micro20 system which looks pretty slick. I like how it handles ship combat, at least as the brief glance I gave it.

Obviously I haven't played either of these but I think I'm gonna give one or both of them a shot with some friends. They both look fairly dynamic and interesting.

@BobGoblin They released the "player's guide" for KS backers the other day. I haven't looked through it yet but I was planning to tomorrow while at work.

I had fun enough with their Star Trek game with my TT group. For a MUX I think I'd suggest using GURPS and their Prime Directive line.

I've been finding that these are really nice if I already have the paper books, but I wouldn't mind having an electronic version to put on the Kindle or that I could print out a page or two at need. (Very helpful when they run cookbooks, that.)

I'm not a fan of epic or their launcher, I'd rather use Origin. So for me, anything going Epic exclusive is a hard pass.

Having experienced some of Origin's weirder quirks, this reads to me a little like "I'm not a fan of having a fork stuck in my eye, I'd rather have it stuck in my foot." I mean... yes, fair, but I'd prefer not being stuck with a knife in the first place.

This alone turned my opinion right around on Origin, LOL.

Yeah, I will grant that Origin has bizarrely fast download speeds compared to other storefronts. And I still use it, too; there's games in there I want to play (Anthem included), so I suffer through the occasional weirdness ("Sorry, I'm going to have to verify those game files before you can play; this should only take 30 minutes." "You wanted your cloud saves? LOL NOPE." and so on) to get those games.

The fact that I cant play The Witcher 3 on PC (a game that can be played entirely offline on console or through GOG) offline after buying it thru Origin made me say fuck Origin and I rebought it on GOG
