I will boot up Civ 4 for his dulcet tones tonight.

I'm going to be listening to him read Gentlemen be Seated By Robert Heinlein as I don't have Civ 4 and it would take too long to get to where he is in the Kingdom Hearts games I have.

I first saw Star Trek in its first season, just before I turned seven. I was still watching it when I saw 2001: A Space Odyssey in the theater just before I turned nine. I'm sure that I would have been a far different person--and that my life would be far poorer--without both of these things.

Nimoy was Jewish. I don't know HOW Jewish, but Jewish enough that he did photobooks about the culture.

There's a part of me that would love to see a Rabbi lure them into a hate crime trap. A small part.

No. 😞 The Colour of Magic and the Light Fantastic gave me a lot of laughs back in the day. Rincewind is a truly tragic, marvellous, hilarious character.

From all accounts he was a lovely and caring man. I think this is one of the few times the death of a famous person has had me in tears 😞

This probably won't make sense to non-Canadians but:

                              Skinnamarinkydinkydink I Love You, Sharon.

Nothing makes you feel older than your childhood teachers passing on.

Everybody knows that song. We sang it in music class when I was a kid, oh... twenty-five years ago.

It was a TV show on Nickelodeon here in the states for a LONG time. ^_^ I remember Sharon, Lois, and Bram very well!

Aw. The Flat Earth books really shaped how I look at fantasy writing and I am grateful to have had the chance. to read her work.
