Okay! My sailormoon game is pretty much done.. except for the code stuff. I am less skilled at such things. I am not a very good coder. I made a list of what I want. My code knowledge is not advanced enough for it. I am willing to chitchat changes too (if my stuff doesn't make sense/is confusing/is hard)

Might I suggest you modify your main post to give what version of mu* you are running?

Penn? MUX? TinyMUSH? Rhost? Evennia? Ares? Other?

Also, please provide the version of the codebase you're running.

@version, +version, or version tend to work depending on the flavor.

This will help get the right type of people interested in the coding.

Haha. IT was both purposefully and unpurposefully left out since I am willing to change codebases (I only know how to code on Tinymux so it is what I use). But, The @version returns:

          MUX 2.12.0.3 #1 [ALPHA]

Where - I want it to not list private builds so an attribute needs to be set on rooms for that.

Mrgle, I can maybe make you a new one sometime.

Who - Nothing fancy, Just prettied up with name, '@doing', idle, and connected.

            Easy, peasy.

Glance - The basics of people in the room (apparent age, hair, eyes, height, weight, short-desc, and perhaps a field for a summary of what they are doing)

Yeah, I can give you what I started on TR and haven't finished yet.

Finger - Age, apparent age, sex, full name, alias, RP prefs (Gives a list of choices. Can request to have things added), online times, theme song, faction they are part of, brief biography, personality

...you can have the one from TR? I doesn't list +prefs on it, but it has a note if its set.

            Prefs Code

You can have my +prefs from Angels if you want?

You may want to nail down what codebase you want to finalize.

              Rhost, Ares, Evennia, MUX/Tm3, etc.

Depending on what codebase you finalize on depends on what majority you can adapt to.

So if you have a preference, you likely want to bring it up.

@ashen-shugar I have zero preference on code bases. I use tinymux because it is what I know. I would rather it be a code base the person(s) who know more than me like coding on.

I question your farther random looking stat system. Maybe look at BESM etc for something well defined.

@icanbeyourmuse I work every day until next Wednesday at least 😐 and have errands for tomorrow. As soon as I am not exhausted / raging from dealing with people, I will bother you for the login and a wizbit so I can start giving you things.

I will weep if you use BESM. Despite that they actually have printed products for Sailor Moon. It is, like any set list of powers and modifiers, fair. It may not be balanced at all. And the resolution mechanism is terrible.

@icanbeyourmuse I'm sorry, I never got around to this. If you need anything re: running it, just let me know.

I agree. It's an example. It's still going to be better than anything designed randomly 😉

@mercutio Mm, probably. It would also be easy to use the exact same values, but resolve in a different way.

In case anyone is wondering, BESM uses a simple roll the die under your stat value, which is a common way of doing things really. However, to change power scales they just increase the die size. So your detective who used to make their human scale investigation checks 7 out of 10 times might now make it 7 out of 20 times in a super human game.

I have a waggish sense of humor.
