Anyone want to ST for Changeling?

I'mma love u down by the fire, @silver

I finally logged into this place and I just have to say I was impressed. Although small, the staff and the players seem super-friendly. The news and help files are very well-written, and the CG layout is pretty sweet. If you're a Changeling player, it's definitely worth checking out.

Aww, thank you!
Real Wiki<tm> is now up and can be seen here. We're still working on getting it set up with everything we'd like to see on there but the bulk of it is done.
Metaplot kicked off with the rediscovery of the Downtown Freehold's Hollow. It was claimed from a flock of freaky little bird hobs worshipping the owl talismans in the local Hedge. On July 23rd, stage two of this tinyplot will kick off with Chromeo running a return visit to the Hedge to see if anything has changed since the owl cult's ceremony was last interrupted.
We are a small game but we've pulled a pretty incredible and friendly group of players. The atmosphere is laid back and aimed at fun. C'mon by, have a look and if you have any questions, shoot DelRey a page (that's me).

Just poked my head in there. While I'm still not sold on playing Fallcoast, this place may end up being more my speed. Always liked smaller games, or at least games that doesn't border in the 100s.
And I can vouch that staff appears pretty friendly.

Definitely looking forward to finishing my app here. When I manage to find the time lately, haha.
I missed changeling after my apparent TR shellshock. Kudos to whoever set up CG and the sheets. -
What is the current size of the game. I do prefer smaller games in general but am on far too many less then 10 player a night games, it is that size small or 30 a night small?
-
@ThatGuyThere I think the game borders in the 15-20 area. Maybe a little more from what I've been told.
And I love the CG on this game. I'm really enjoying how simplistic it is and how it easy it is to get through CG. Nothing complicated, but not a lot of frills. A pretty simple and straightforward CG. I guess, since I asked, the CG was built to be as painless as possible.
I like this game a lot so far. I think if the game ever opened a Mage sphere, it'd be perfect(for me, anyways), but I'm pretty sure it's specifically Changeling.

The staff there are just fine. I was invited to play there a couple of weeks ago, set up my PC within a day or two, and hit the Grid.
-
@ThatGuyThere Howdy!
During the workday it seems the game is a little over 10, this last weekend it was a little under 10, we haven't actually advertised except for this thread here and then when The Reach was hitting itself in the nut-sack with a tackhammer I posted an ad like "hey guys we are making changeling over here." I need to add us to some places. :v
It LOOKS like to me that our most active time is Thursday evenings. We have a pose XP thing and this is how I know whether people are RPing. This past month we've had an average of 7 people RPing at once on Thursday nights, which is pretty good for a 10-15 member +who list, but on the weekends we don't have a big crowd. I assume this is because we're partying hard IRL.
I'm glad people like my CG!

I've been a little lax over at KAW the past week because my family is about to head up to New York for a week for my cousin's wedding. That said, yeah, a lot of people have demanding RL's right now, so numbers may be a little down per day. But the RP that does happen is fun and engaging. People are pretty pro-active about seeking out others for RP, and the plot promises to be interesting. I'm looking forward to diving back in when I get back from NY.
-
The average seems to be about ten, give or take, but there's new people coming in and +events going on, which is promising. I have to say, again, how impressed I am. The coding is fantastic and the people are super welcoming. I have had more offers for RP in two days than I had in weeks at other places. In addition, the staff is super approachable and friendly. Granted, I've only been there a couple days, but wow. Good job, guys.
-
I've been approved here for 2 months, though just lurking (didn't actually get off my butt and RP until today, been busy on other games). Chromeo and the other staff have all been great the whole time, and the players are all pretty awesomely friendly. Cheers!

What's the deal with the circus?
-
Specify a little? I'm not sure what you want to know about it.

Is it the same one from TR? It looks a lot like it.
-
Oh! Yeah, its built by the same pair from TR, to be the same basic concept, far as I can tell. They wanted a new environment, can't say that I blame them.

@Miss-Demeanor
Hot shit, I'm making me a carnie. Thank you! -
Welcome!

The Reach had this circus faction going on and I advertised when the Reach was getting shut down. So, when we were launching, people were looking for different places to play. We were asked if people could bring their characters over to our game, and I said "sure", and so we have the circus. They are currently the largest group on the game. We are looking for characters who don't belong to the circus, so there is more variety to play with.
For example, we have a Common Threads thing (news starting xp) which are RP hooks which reward XP and give you an IC position to be more directly involved in our plots. These include things like story seeds and group membership that so many players find appealing.
For example, we have The Hookup, an entertainment company which is Changeling operated, the extra funding of which is used to develop the city's supernatural network and thereby keep tabs on paranormal happenings.
There's the Fireman/Bastrop Fires hook, which incorporates the real-world wildfire that devastated Bastrop County (just southeast of Austin); in our game world the fires never died, at least in the Hedge (in the real-world side, they are gone), and we encourage you to make characters who know about the Bastrop Fires and have experimented with how to put them out in the past.
Then there is the homebrew Secrets merit, available in chargen. to characters who have history in Austin. Each dot allows a person to know more about Austin's unique history, both mortal and supernatural, such as the NPCs from the past who are pertinent to the metaplot, the location of Hedge gates, and hints and clues as to just what is going on with things like the Moonlight Towers and the stories about the Servant Girl Annihilator. The way this works is by showing you news files you would not otherwise see and by being able to add your Secrets rating to any roll regarding knowing/finding out more about things going on in Austin.
So, we have the Circus. We we also have Austin-centric plots and themes that we'd love people to join in on so we can tell our game's unique stories.

@Chromeo How does this Secrets thing work? Do different Seemings/Courts get different results? Do you send out @mails about what they know? Are rolls involved?
It sounds cool and I want to learn more about it.
